ON THE TRAGIC BANDIT ATTACK IN UNGUWAR DAHIRU, FUNTUA
I received with profound sadness and deep concern the heartbreaking news of the tragic bandit attack that occurred during the night in Unguwar Dahiru, Funtua Local Government Area, which sadly resulted in the loss of lives and left several others injured.
On behalf of my family, supporters, and the people I seek to represent in the Funtua/Dandume Federal Constituency, I extend my deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in this unfortunate incident.
To those who sustained injuries, I pray for Allah’s swift and complete healing. I also pray that Almighty Allah grants the departed souls eternal rest and gives their families the strength and fortitude to bear this painful loss.
This tragic incident is yet another painful reminder of the urgent need for stronger and more effective measures to protect the lives and property of our people. The safety and security of our communities must remain a collective priority.
I strongly condemn this act of violence and call on the relevant security authorities to intensify efforts to protect vulnerable communities, prevent further attacks, and bring those responsible to justice.
At this difficult moment, I stand in solidarity with the people of Unguwar Dahiru, Funtua, and all affected families. May Almighty Allah bring peace, security, and lasting stability to our communities.
May Allah forgive those who lost their lives, grant them Aljannatul Firdaus, heal the injured, and protect our people from further attacks. Ameen.
