NIGERIA AT 66: THE STATE OF THE NATION
A Reflection on Our Journey, Our Challenges, and Our Shared Responsibility

Sixty-six years ago, Nigeria raised the flag of a sovereign nation and embraced the promise of self-determination.

On that historic day, a great hope was born: the hope that a diverse people, united by a common destiny, could build a nation founded on freedom, justice, dignity, prosperity, and peace.

Today, at 66, that hope still lives.

But so do the questions.

What have we achieved with the freedom entrusted to us? What lessons have we learned from our journey? And, most importantly, what kind of Nigeria will we leave for the generations that come after us?

I AM PREGNANT OF THE NEW NIGERIA

I am pregnant of a New Nigeria -
a sacred vision conceived in the womb of Divine Will,
a new Heaven on Earth,
a Universal Civilization of Love and Oneness.

My pains are not in vain;
they are the birth pangs of a New Nation -
unified, purposeful, peaceful, and prosperous.

Through me, a new archetype of civilization is being born:
Nigeria reborn, humanity awakened,
and nations inspired to become one in Love.

The hour of birth is near.
The labour shall not be forever.

The New Nigeria shall manifest -
sooner than you ever imagined.

Politics Must Be Sublime

There comes a time in the life of a people when it becomes necessary to pause, step beyond the noise of political competition, and ask a deeper question:

What is Politics?

Is it merely a game of numbers, interests, alliances, strategies and victories?

Is it simply the art of acquiring and retaining power?

Or is Politics something far more profound – the instrument through which human beings collectively determine the direction, character, purpose and destiny of their society?

This question is no longer merely philosophical.

It is a question of civilizational survival.

There is a Nigeria that exists beyond the Nigeria we presently see.

There is a Nigeria that must be conceived before it can be constructed, envisioned before it can be manifested, and spiritually understood before it can be physically built.

I See a New Nigeria.

Not merely a new government.
Not merely a new political arrangement.
Not merely new roads, bridges, buildings, industries and institutions.
