It is with a deep sense of humility, gratitude and faith in the will of the Almighty Allah that I make this statement following the emergence of a consensus governorship candidate for Gombe State under our great party, the All Progressives Congress, APC.
First and foremost, I return all glory and appreciation to Almighty Allah, whose wisdom guides our affairs and whose blessings continue to sustain us through every phase of this journey.
I wish to express my profound gratitude to our dear leader, His Excellency Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, whose visionary leadership and commitment to unity have once again strengthened the foundation of our party. My appreciation also goes to the Executive members of our great party, the APC, our respected elders, leaders and stakeholders at all levels for their show of love, support, and dedication to our collective cause from the very beginning to this defining moment.
It is no longer news that the consensus process of our great party has been concluded, and in the wisdom of our stakeholders, a flag bearer has emerged in the person of our dear brother, Dr. Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna. I extend my sincere congratulations to him on securing the party’s ticket through a peaceful, transparent and rancour-free process that reflects the maturity and unity of our party.
As a committed and loyal party man, I wholeheartedly accept this decision in good faith and with a deep sense of responsibility. I pledge my full support and loyalty to our party and its candidate, and I am ready to work tirelessly alongside all stakeholders to ensure a resounding victory at the polls.
To my teeming supporters, I seek your understanding, patience and continued faith. Your support, encouragement, and sacrifices throughout this journey have not gone unnoticed, and I remain eternally grateful. At this critical moment, I urge you all to remain calm, steadfast and united as we channel our collective strength toward the success of our candidate and great party.
Together, we have built a formidable movement grounded in hope, unity, and progress. Let us continue on this path, guided by the principles that bind us, and committed to the greater good of Gombe State.
May Almighty Allah continue to guide us and grant us success in all our endeavors.
