WEEKEND ROUND UP STORY: FCT CONTROLLER CALLS FOR MORE SYNERGY
Since assumption of office, as the Controller incharge of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, Controller Ajibogun Olatubosun FCSS fsi, has called on stakeholders in the Nigerian Correctional Service FCT Command, during his courtesy call, to maintain the already existing synergy in security and sharing intelligence.
His first point of call was at the Nigerian Immigration Service, FCT Command, where he emphasized on the interconnectivity of both agencies and need for continuous collaboration.
At the 176 Guards Battalion, Gen AO Azazi Barracks Gwagwalada, Controller Ajibogun expressed the appreciation of the FCT Command and the service at large for the Army's commitment in securing the custodial centres under the FCT Command and the country in general.
He stressed that Interagency collaboration and intelligence sharing cannot be overemphasized, as it is a panacea for a safe and secured society.
Highlights of the courtesy visits were exchange of pleasantries, sharing of positive innovative ideas, and group photograph.

Controller of Corrections FCT Command Plays Host to FCT Commissioner of Police.
The FCT Commissioner of Police, Adewale Ajao, has paid a courtesy visit to the Controller of Corrections FCT Command, Ajibogun Olatubosun FCSS, fsi. The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration and discuss ways to improve the criminal justice system in the Federal Capital Territory.
During the visit, the Commissioner stressed the need for continuous collaboration and cooperation amongst the two agencies adding that without synergy, efforts of the security agencies will be in futile.
They also explored opportunities for joint training and capacity-building initiatives for correctional officers and police personnel.
The Commissioner praised the Controller for his efforts in rehabilitating inmates and reintegrating them into society. He also called on him not to hesitate to reach out to the police should there be any need.
On his part, the Controller appreciated the Commissioner's support and commitment to improving the correctional system especially in the area of providing security in custodial centres.
Describing him as s professional police officer with very great track records which he believes will benefit the entire FCT.
The visit underscores the importance of inter-agency collaboration in promoting safety, security, and rehabilitation in the FCT. As both leaders took a tour to Nigerian Immigration service FCT Command, and Kuje Custodial Centre respectively, they expressed their commitment to continuing this partnership and working towards a more secured FCT.
