CONDOLENCE MESSAGE TO THE SECRETARY TO THE STATE GOVERNMENT

Comrade Dauda Kushu, Principal Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Adamawa State,

Extend my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to my boss, mentor and brother, the Secretary to the Adamawa State Government, Hon. Alh. Awwal D. Tukur, over the passing of his beloved father, our father and national icon, Alh. Dr. Bamanga Muhammad Tukur, CON, Tafidan Adamawa.

Baba's demise at the age of 90 is not just a loss to the Tukur family, but to Adamawa State and Nigeria at large. He was a colossus — a former Governor of old Gongola State, former Minister of Industries, and former National Chairman of the PDP, who lived a fulfilled life of service, industry and statesmanship.

At this moment of grief, I stand with you and the entire family. No words can truly comfort you for the loss of a father, but I pray that the legacies he left behind will continue to give you strength.

I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, grants him Aljannatul Firdaus, and grants you and the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

Signed:
Hon. Dauda Kushu
