Removing The Brick Wall Of The Past to Break New Ground

"Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,"
This was Paul's view about how the future could be positively achieved by what you decide to see and do now. One thing I do, he said forgetting past failures dwelling on past achievements, but building a strong mindset for a successful future.
In the 20th century, the Wo,rld was taken by surprise by the decision of East and West Germany to break the barrier between them, and that was the turning point to Europe's socioeconomic boost, and the whole world at large.
(The turning point in Germany, called Die Wende, was marked by the "Peaceful Revolution" leading to the fall of the Berlin Wall on the night of 9 November 1989, with East and West Germany subsequently entering into negotiations toward eliminating the division that had been imposed upon Germans more than four decades .)
Our past is a major chord that links us to the future. We must have our past, which we might have gone through, both in the ugly and sweet past. As important as your past is to the future, the past must be put in its proper place, that is, distancing the past from your today’s decision; the ugly past must be put behind you and you must not dwell on your sweet past also.
Friends, if your past is not put in check, it will build up a strong resistance against your today’s plan for tomorrow.
I am not saying that you have to delete your past, the past still is the teacher, it transfers experience and the gain from the acquired experience is called a lesson. Even if dwelling on your past is nonproductive, the lesson you got from the experience of the past is your guide for a better future. It depends on the angle through which you view the past, you can always see bitterness and lessons.
Paul said that, for the sake of having productive knowledge of Christ, he counted all things including the bitterness of the past as dung (s**t) “….for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,”

Cast away the carry-over bitterness of the past and forge a bond with the word of God to move to your next level. The price to pay for the Nobel Prize of Divine Abundance is good fellowship with God's word.

"I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" Philippians3:14.
Paul said this to the Philippians. He gave his dogged attitude as one of the reasons for attaining his purpose. 'pressing toward the mark for the prize' he said. He made tremendous impact in his ministry.
Friends, for something good to come out of anything you want, there is a need to press dilligently for a rewarding result.
The bible says this about the woman whom Jesus healed from a chronic menstrual complication, that "she came in the press behind, and touched his garment." Mark5:27. She pressed until something Happened, yes, the unending flow of blood and shame stopped.
You can pull yourself out of poverty, distress, and that sickness pool, by allowing The Spirit of God to give you a result oriented Push through insights from the word of God, .Pray always and work more diligently.
Friends, something new and rewarding must happen to you in the next few days. Amen.
