‎We hereby charge us to let every day of this month radiate a better tomorrow of our existence, fostering an unshaken resolve, unbroken spirit, undampened enthusiasm, clear focus, divine vision, debuted ideas, reckoned opportunities, and alive and aglow mentality.

‎The goal is to prod and forge ahead until the golden fleece is ours to pluck i.e., not to look okay but to be okay.

Wetin you love most about Ibadan?

For me, na the spirit. That thing wey make Ibadan different from any other place for Naija.

Our people no dey fear anybody. We talk am as e be. We no dey dulling for hustle. And when you need help, your neighbor go show.

But sometimes e be like say we don forget say the same spirit wey our ancestors use build this ancient city- warriors, traders, leaders- still dey inside us.

The people wey build brown roofs. The people wey fight wars and win. The people wey dey mind their business but no dey take nonsense.
That na who we be.

So why we go settle for representatives wey no get that same spirit? Why we go accept people wey see politics as business instead of service?

ODM dey remind us: We are Olubori-ote. We are Ibadan. We no be second-class citizens for our own land.

Drop for comment: Wetin make you proud to call yourself Ibadan person?

Make we remember who we be, so we go know the kind leadership we deserve.
