DAY 3 | BADAGRY DIVISION

Yesterday, we took the Y2027 Lagos State Budget Consultative Forum to the Badagry Division, engaging traditional rulers, residents, community leaders, market women, professional bodies, civil society organisations and other stakeholders.

The conversations were insightful and, importantly, gave us a clearer understanding of the priorities, concerns and aspirations of our people across the division.

As a government, we remain committed to listening to Lagosians and ensuring that their voices help shape a responsive, inclusive and people-centred Y2027 Budget.

Day 2 of the Y2027 Lagos State Budget Consultative Forum took us to the Lagos Division, where we continued our engagement with stakeholders and listened to the priorities, concerns and aspirations of our people.

The quality of participation and the richness of the contributions reaffirmed the importance of inclusive consultation in shaping a budget that responds to the real needs of Lagosians.

As we plan for 2027, we remain committed to a process that is people-centred, inclusive and responsive.

We began our engagement with stakeholders in the Ikeja Division as part of the Y2027 Lagos State Budget Consultative Forum.

I was particularly encouraged by the depth of the conversations and the willingness of our traditional rulers, community leaders, civil society groups and other stakeholders to share their priorities and expectations for our State.

As a government, we remain committed to listening, engaging and ensuring that the voices of Lagosians continue to shape our development priorities.

The Lagos we are building must be a Lagos that works for everyone.

Had the pleasure of meeting with the lagos state house of Assembly aspirant for Lagos Island II, Honourable Yusuf Nurudeen Abiodun (SAHA), Hon Nurudeen Yunus a bright and promising personality and a worthy candidate for our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

We had a fruitful engagement, exchanged ideas, and rubbed minds on matters of importance to our people and the future of our party.
