There is something truly special about sitting with the people, listening to their stories, and understanding their hopes for a better tomorrow.

In Karewa, over 200 women came together for an engaging and heartfelt conversation about the challenges facing their communities and the kind of leadership they want to see. Many shared touching testimonies of how my Zaya has impacted their lives and supported their families over the years. Their stories were a powerful reminder that genuine leadership is measured by the lives it touches.

The women also reaffirmed their commitment to stand with Distinguished Senator Ishaku Abbo - SIA , pledging to work tirelessly alongside him as the political season unfolds. Their confidence reflects a shared belief that leadership must remain rooted in service, compassion, and a genuine commitment to the people.

We also spoke about the importance of every eligible citizen obtaining a Permanent Voter's Card (PVC). A PVC is not just a card, it is the people's voice, their power, and their opportunity to shape the future through the ballot.

To the resilient women of Karewa, thank you for your trust, your honesty, and your unwavering commitment to the progress of our communities. Together, through people-centered leadership and sound policies, we can build the future our people deserve.

Karewa, na gode sosai.

Happy Monday, Beloved.

There are some things a girl will never learn from a textbook. She learns them from the people she meets, the questions she is brave enough to ask and the women who take the time to guide her. This is why mentorship matters. A girl needs someone she can look up to, someone she can ask the difficult questions and someone who can help her see possibilities beyond what she has always known.

We cannot keep telling girls to dream big and leave them to figure everything out alone. Sometimes, one woman showing up at the right time can change the way a girl sees herself and the future she believes is possible. This is why I am doing all I can to be that shoulder and build a network where girls can find guidance, support, knowledge and women willing to walk with them.

If we want a different story for the next generation, we must start by showing up for the girls who will write it. Have a beautiful and purposeful week ahead, Beloved.

Engaging directly with my fellow women has been one of the greatest blessings of this journey. Looking into their eyes, I saw not just hope, but an unshakable belief that Adamawa can be better. I listened as they spoke with passion about the opportunities they long for, the support they deserve, and the future they dream of for their children and communities.

Every conversation strengthened my resolve. Their courage in the face of challenges, their resilience despite years of neglect, and their unwavering hope have placed a greater responsibility on my heart. They deserve more than promises, they deserve real development, empowerment, quality healthcare, good roads, quality education, and opportunities that will transform their lives.

The message of hope from the SIA Movement is spreading from one community to another, reaching the hearts of the people and inspiring renewed confidence that a brighter Adamawa is possible. Together, we are building a future where every woman is heard, every family is valued, and every community has the chance to thrive.

Meeting these incredible women has reminded me why this journey matters. Their voices have become my motivation, their hopes my responsibility, and their dreams my commitment. By the grace of God, we will work tirelessly until the development they have long awaited becomes their reality. Together, we will build the Adamawa we all deserve.

Every journey to the grassroots has been a lesson in humanity, humility, and purpose for me.

I have walked among people whose voices are rarely heard, communities beyond the reach of the internet, people who have little or no access to basic amenities, where poor roads, rivers, inadequate healthcare, and the absence of schools have become daily struggles.

Yet, in the midst of these challenges, I have found hope, resilience, and dreams for a better tomorrow.

Meeting these people has transformed my understanding of leadership. It has shown me that governance is not just about positions or promises, it is about being present, listening deeply, and serving with a sincere heart.

The true measure of leadership is found in the lives we touch, the burdens we ease, and the communities we uplift. The people at the grassroots are the heartbeat of our nation, and their hopes must never be forgotten.

Taking the message of SIA and the Labour Party everywhere.

There is a reason I am always writing whenever I enter a community. Every place has its own reality, and every community has its own peculiar needs.

That is why I listen, ask questions and take notes. Sometimes it is about water. Sometimes roads, schools, healthcare or security. I do not want to leave a place and forget what the people actually said.

One thing my Zaya, His Excellency Senator Abbo Ishaku, intends to implement is a simple approach: projects should not be based on assumptions, but on the actual needs of the people. To me, that is one of the ways people should truly experience democracy.

So when you see me with my notepad, just know I am paying attention. Every note matters, because every community matters and every voice deserves to be heard.
