On the 12th of November, 2025, our team visited Urban Day School where we educated the students on Civil Rights and Responsibilities. The session had about 70 students and 10 teachers in attendance.
During the session, we emphasized that Civic Education is not just a theoretical subject, but a practical guide to becoming responsible citizens. We encouraged the students to play their part in contributing positively to society, even as young teenagers.
To measure the impact of the session, we engaged the students with follow-up questions, and they responded with brilliant and thoughtful ideas, showing clear understanding of the concepts discussed.
We look forward to creating more impact in our society and inspiring more young people to become civic-minded and responsible individuals who do the right thing.

From indifference to determination
On Saturday, 8th August 2025, Team CiviX took to the streets of Obafemi Awolowo University to educate students on their civic rights and responsibilities.
Many openly admitted their initial indifference to the subject, but by the end, they were inspired, empowered, and committed to taking action ; including making their votes count in future elections.

๐ What are Human Rights?
Theyโre not privileges. Theyโre yours, simply because you're human. ๐ช๐พ
๐ Born in 1948 with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, these rights protect everyone, everywhere, always - no matter your nationality, gender, race, or beliefs.
โจ They are:
๐น Universal โ for all, no exceptions
๐น Interdependent โ all connected
๐น Non-discriminatory โ no bias, no barriers
๐ฌ Know your rights. Stand for them. Speak up for others.
