Happy World Teachers’ Day!

Today, I celebrate and appreciate our teachers for their dedication, patience and sacrifices in shaping minds, building character and preparing the next generation.

Teaching is more than a profession. It is a responsibility that leaves a lasting impact on individuals, families and society.

I believe our teachers deserve greater support, better working conditions, continuous professional development and the dignity that comes with the important role they play in our communities.

To every teacher who continues to inspire, educate and nurture our children despite the challenges, thank you for your service.

May Allah continue to strengthen and reward you for the lives you touch every day.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.

It is with a heavy heart that I mourn the passing of Hajia Ramatallahi Muhammad Salman, the beloved mother of Muhammed Soliu, one of the pillars of the Yusuf Eletu 2027 Project.

Hajia Ramatallahi was a devoted mother who dedicated herself to raising her children with strong Islamic values and principles. Her passing is a painful loss to her family, loved ones, and all those who knew her.

I extend my deepest condolences to Muhammed Soliu, his siblings, and the entire family during this difficult period. May Allah grant you all the strength, patience, and comfort needed to bear this great loss.

May Allah forgive her shortcomings, accept her good deeds, illuminate and widen her grave, and grant her Al-Jannatul Firdaus.

May Allah also grant the family Sabr (patience) and reward them abundantly for their faith and endurance.

Ameen.

Today, I continued my grassroots engagement in my ward, Magaji Are 1, in Ilorin East, where I was warmly received by a large gathering of PDP members, support groups, community leaders, and other key stakeholders.

I was pleased to undertake this engagement alongside Alhaji Isiaka Owolabi, Chairman of the PDP in Kwara Central, Hon. Haroon Maigidasanma, the PDP candidate for Ilorin East and my brother, Hon. Bashir Olayinka Amule. I sincerely appreciate them for joining me and contributing to the success of the engagement.

I am deeply grateful for the warm reception, the encouragement, and the strong show of support from our people.

These engagements are more than meetings; they provide an opportunity to listen directly to our people, exchange ideas, understand their concerns, and discuss practical ways to make meaningful and visible impact in our communities.

The journey continues, with our people at the heart of everything we do.

Today, I continued my grassroots engagement across Apado, Marafa, Iponrin, Agbeyangi, and Maya/Ile Apa in Ilorin East Local Government.

I had the opportunity to meet with support groups and party members, listen to their concerns, exchange ideas, and strengthen our shared commitment to the progress and development of our communities.

The journey continues, and the people remain at the heart of everything we do.

A New Voice.
