RT. HON. ABOK NUHU AYUBA CELEBRATES PLATEAU DEPUTY GOVERNOR, NGO JOSEPHINE PIYO, @70

The former Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abok Nuhu Ayuba, has joined family, friends, associates, and well-wishers across Plateau State in celebrating the Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Her Excellency Ngo Josephine Piyo, on the occasion of her 70th birthday anniversary.

In a goodwill message, Rt. Hon. Abok described the Deputy Governor as a woman of remarkable grace, wisdom, compassion, and unwavering commitment to public service, whose contributions to governance and community development have continued to impact lives across the state.

He commended Ngo Piyo for her steadfast support and invaluable contributions to the “Time Is Now” administration of Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, particularly in the areas of peacebuilding, unity, inclusive governance, and sustainable development.

Rt. Hon. Abok further noted that the Deputy Governor's humility, empathy, and dedication to the welfare of the people have made her a source of inspiration, particularly to women, the elderly, and vulnerable members of society.

He eulogized her as a woman of principle and compassion, whose commitment to equity, fairness, and the collective well-being of the people reflects the true spirit of service and leadership.

On behalf of his family, friends, and associates, Rt. Hon. Abok Nuhu Ayuba warmly congratulated Her Excellency Ngo Josephine Piyo on attaining the remarkable age of 70 and prayed Almighty God to grant her continued good health, wisdom, strength, and many more years of fruitful service to Plateau State and Nigeria.

Your appointment did not come to me as a surprise, knowing your capacity, track record of service, and political credentials. To us as a community, this is a great development and a proud moment.

I heartily congratulate my senior colleague, Rt. Hon. Titus Alams, on his appointment as Chairman of the Plateau State House of Assembly Service Commission by the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Barr. Caleb Mutfwang.

I also congratulate my brother, Hon. Emmanuel Nyam Pate, on his appointment as Liaison Officer to the Executive Governor for Jos East Constituency.

These appointments are well-deserved. I have confidence in your wealth of experience and capacity to discharge your new responsibilities effectively.

I have no doubt that Rt. Hon. Titus Alams will bring his wealth of legislative experience to bear in strengthening the House of Assembly Service Commission, while Hon. Emmanuel Nyam Pate will serve as a credible bridge between the government and the good people of Jos East Constituency.
