Day 3 Highlights!
The Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) training series concluded in the Kaduna South Senatorial Zone with a successful session held at Wonderland Unity Hotel, Kafanchan.

Facilitated by Agri Innovation Hub, in partnership with the Kaduna State Government () and the African Union Development Agency – AUDA-NEPAD (.n), the final training brought together participants from across Southern Kaduna to strengthen their knowledge and skills in Climate Smart Agriculture and Backyard Farming.

A total of 115 participants (100 for CSA and 15 for Backyard Farming) were trained on key topics including climate adaptation strategies, efficient water use, integrated pest management, soil health, and post-harvest handling.

The session ended with renewed commitment from participants to apply CSA practices in their communities ensuring sustainable farming, improved food security, and climate resilience across Kaduna State.

Day 2 Highlights!
The Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) training continued today in the Kaduna North Senatorial Zone, held at the ABU Zaria NAERLS Halls.

Facilitated by Agri Innovation Hub in collaboration with the Kaduna State Government and the African Union Development Agency – AUDA-NEPAD today’s session empowered participants with practical knowledge on Climate Smart Agriculture and Backyard Farming.

A total of 115 participants (85 for CSA and 30 for Backyard Farming) took part in the concurrent trainings, gaining valuable insights on climate adaptation, efficient resource use, and sustainable food production.

Together, we’re building a climate-resilient Kaduna, one community at a time.

Agri Innovation Hub, in collaboration with the Kaduna State Government and the African Union Development Agency AUDA-NEPAD .n successfully facilitated a series of trainings across Kaduna State on Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA).

The initiative aimed to strengthen the capacity of farmers and local communities to adapt to climate change, reduce vulnerability, and enhance productivity through sustainable agricultural practices.

The intervention integrated Backyard Farming and CSA practices, promoting long-term resilience, food security, and environmental sustainability.

A total of 345 participants were trained across the three senatorial zones of Kaduna State.

The first phase of the training took place in Kaduna Central, hosted at where participants from the central senatorial zone gained practical knowledge and hands-on experience in climate-smart and backyard farming techniques.
