On behalf of the Capacity Movement, I warmly felicitate with the Muslim Ummah and the general public on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
This sacred celebration reminds us of the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, compassion, and unwavering faith in Almighty Allah. As we mark this blessed season, I urge everyone to continue promoting peace, love, unity, forgiveness, kindness, and generosity within our communities and across the nation.
We should also emulate the noble habits and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) by extending helping hands to the needy, the poor, and the less privileged, especially during this festive period. Let us share what we have with others and strengthen the spirit of brotherhood and humanity.
May this Eid bring lasting peace, progress, and prosperity to our dear nation. May Almighty Allah accept our sacrifices and bless our homes with happiness, good health, and abundant mercy.
Eid Mubarak.

Shehu S. Sado Honoured at African Youth Parliament as Guest of Honour and Award Recipient in Abuja

The Capacity Movement, under the leadership of our National President Shehu S. Sado, wishes to address a matter of critical importance regarding the upcoming All Progressives Congress primaries in Kaduna State.
It has come to our attention through credible reports that certain council chairmen are being compelled to endorse a specific senatorial aspirant. Such actions violate the established rules and internal democratic processes of the party. The guidelines clearly state that all aspirants must be allowed to participate freely in the primary elections without undue influence or coercion.
No official, including council chairmen, has the authority to impose candidates or pressure party stakeholders to provide endorsements. These actions undermine party unity and compromise the credibility of the primary election process.
In light of this, the Capacity Movement strongly advises all council chairmen and stakeholders to maintain neutrality and uphold fairness by allowing a free and transparent primary election. We remain committed to protecting democratic values within the party and ensuring that every aspirant has an equal opportunity to compete.
Should these unlawful endorsement practices persist, the Capacity Movement will take all lawful and political steps necessary to safeguard internal democracy within the party.
We trust that all parties involved will heed this warning and work collectively to promote a fair and democratic primary election for the benefit of the party and the people it serves.

The National President of the Capacity Movement and Director-General of the campaign of Yerima Shettima Shehu S. Sado has reaffirmed the movement’s commitment to democratic principles during an interview on Taskira TV.
During the interview, he stated that those who claim to be democrats must allow the people to freely choose their leaders, stressing that democracy cannot thrive where candidates are imposed. He noted that Nigerians are enjoying the dividends of democracy today because of the sacrifices and struggles of pro-democracy activists during the military era, adding that Yerima Shettima and his contemporaries were among those who made significant contributions to that struggle.
Shehu S. Sado clarified the issue of consensus, explaining that consensus is not the decision of a single individual but a constitutional process that requires consultation and agreement among all stakeholders. He therefore debunked rumours suggesting the existence of any anointed or consensus candidate, insisting that due democratic processes must be respected at all times.
He also criticised the performance of former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani, citing what he described as ineffective representation and unmet expectations of the people. He called on party caucuses, stakeholders, youth leaders, and party executives to unite and focus on actualising the mandate of Yerima Shettima, describing him as the candidate of the masses who can strengthen and expand the support base of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
