The former Director-General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Alhaji (Dr.) Mohammed Sani Sidi, OFR, has extended his warmest congratulations to Muslims in Kaduna State and across Nigeria on the auspicious commencement of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
In his goodwill message, Mohammed Sani Sidi described Ramadan as a sacred period of profound spiritual renewal, self-discipline, compassion, and devotion to the Almighty. He noted that beyond abstinence, the holy month serves as a solemn reminder of the enduring values of sacrifice, humility, charity and peaceful coexistence.
He called on the Muslim faithful to use the blessed period to offer fervent prayers for lasting peace, unity, and prosperity in Kaduna State and Nigeria at large. He emphasized the urgent need for collective supplication for divine guidance for the nation’s leaders, strength for its people, and enduring solutions to the challenges confronting society.
Sani Sidi further urged citizens to embrace the spirit of Ramadan by promoting love, tolerance, and mutual understanding, while extending kindness and support to the less privileged, in keeping with the true essence of the holy month.
He concluded by praying that Almighty Allah accepts the fast, supplications, and acts of worship of the faithful, and grants Kaduna State and Nigeria greater peace, stability and abundant blessings.
