The foundation will focus on developing comprehensive health services in general , while striving to reduce medical cost by direct provision of basic health care support services and amenities for the less privileged in the communities. Every child has the right to an education, yet more than 120 million children, the majority of whom are girls, are not in school. Only around two thirds of children complete five years of schooling, where they are in school, millions of children are still being taught by untrained and under-resourced teachers, in cramped and ill-equipped classrooms. We will harness the mostly untapped resources in NFE (non formal education) to support the education in the class room, using the powerful local traditions of theatre and storytelling to communicate about HIV/AIDS and other health issues in the community when teaching health education. Educational workshops and youth-led community events will be used to tackle stigma and discrimination. We will encourage people to discuss change of harmful cultural practices and perceived taboos eventually leading to a change in behaviour. Protection
The security and lives of millions of children all over the world are adversely affected by war, violence, communal conflicts, neglect, exploitation, racism, abuse and discrimination. Children have suffered disabilities and injuries, become child soldiers , resorted to drugs and substance abuse ,are driven from their homes and country as refugees because of armed conflicts. The trafficking, abduction, smuggling, physical, sexual and economic exploitation of children have debilitating effects on their physical and mental development. To add to this, domestic and sexual violence continue to be a daily occurrence in the lives of many children and their mothers. The foundation will ensure the implementation of the Child Rights and protection Act in all the communities it will work in, our projects will have as part of their mission the mandate to ensure that every child enjoys their basic human rights. We will achieve this aim through the provision of access to basic education and primary healthcare, vocational training and support to boost family incomes, as well as listening to and empowering the communities to provide lasting solutions that target the root causes of children’s problems. We will work at the grassroots to protect children and their families by addressing the root causes of poverty in the region, giving young women the skills they need to earn a living, helping to break the cycle of poverty that puts so many of their children at risks of commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking. We hope to protect those most vulnerable by running care centres for children at risk as well as shelter homes and a residential training centre for girls rescued from the trafficking trade. We will work with nationally and internationally recognized organizations at the forefront of leading the global fight against trafficking and sexual exploitation of women and children.
