Kaduna State Government has further released the sum of N1.45 billion for payment of outstanding pensions, gratuities and death benefits to retired civil servants.

In 2020, the State has so far remitted a total of N4.05 billion to the State Pensions Bureau for the payment of pensioners from the State and 23 Local Governments.

The administration inherited N15 billion arrears of pensions, gratuities and death benefits accumulated since 2011.
