PRESS STATEMENT

By Global Thinkers, a Pressure Group and Grassroots Mobilizers of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Southern Kaduna.

Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen of the Press,

Our group, the Global Thinkers, stand today in solidarity with the visionary leadership of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and His Excellency, Senator Dr. Uba Sani, CON, Governor of Kaduna State. Their combined efforts have brought inclusivity, security, and accelerated development to Kaduna State, particularly Southern Kaduna.

Under President Tinubu, our region has witnessed decisive security interventions and the establishment of key institutions such as the Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia, and the Federal Medical Center, Kafanchan. His administration has also elevated distinguished sons and daughters of Southern Kaduna into strategic national roles, including General Christopher Musa, Chief of Defence Staff, Engineer Dr. Obadiah Nkom, President, Mining Cadastre Office, Justice Benjamin Kanyip, President, Industrial Court, and Ladidi Kaliat Musa, Chairman, Oil and Gas Free Zone Authority. These appointments reflect his unwavering belief in merit and inclusivity.

Governor Uba Sani is presently constructing about 500 km of roads and other strides with tangible development projects across Southern Kaduna.
Some of which include the following;

* Construction of the 22.8km Madauchi–Kafanchan Road with a link to Matsirga Waterfalls, now 70% complete.
* Ongoing works on the 22.5km Gwantu–Kibam–Godogodo Road.
* The 17.5km Tachira–Kadarko Road to open new economic corridors.
* A Vocational and Skills Acquisition Centre in Samaru Kataf, backed by NBTE certification.
* Completion of the Science Model Secondary School, Manchok.
* Distribution of free essential drugs and equipment to PHCs across the zone.
* The 23km Pambeguwa–Kauru Road project.

Furthermore, Governor Uba Sani has demonstrated inclusivity by appointing capable leaders from Southern Kaduna into critical roles, among them Hon. Mrs. Patience Fakai (Commissioner of Business Innovation and Technology). Dr. James Kanyip (Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice), Hon. Murtala Dabo (Commissioner of Agriculture), Barr. Gloria Ibrahim (Commissioner of Youth Development) Prof. Benjamin Kumai Gugong (Commissioner of Sports Development) and Mr. Jerry Adams (Chairman, Internal Revenue Service)

These projects and appointments are not mere gestures—they are a deliberate strategy to integrate Southern Kaduna into the larger vision of growth and prosperity.

In light of these achievements and in firm alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we, hereby:

1. Endorse President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for a second term in office.
2. Endorse Governor Uba Sani, CON, for re-election in 2027.

3. Commit to purchasing the nomination form on behalf of Governor Uba Sani as a demonstration of our total support.

We call on all well-meaning citizens of Southern Kaduna and the entire state to unite behind this leadership for a more peaceful, prosperous, and inclusive Kaduna and Nigeria.
