HON. FIDELIX JOSEPH BAGUDU SET TO DECLARE INTEREST FOR ANOTHER TERM AS CHIKUN/KAJURU FEDERAL LAWMAKER.

Hon. Fidelix J. Bagudu, Member representing Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, is set to officially declare his interest to contest for another term in office.

The public is reminded that Hon. Bagudu went to the National Assembly in October 2025 after emerging victorious in the bye-election held in August 2025. Since his inauguration, he has continued to champion People-Centred Representation, Youths Inclusion, and Grassroots Development across Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas.

The declaration event is scheduled to hold as follows:
Date: Saturday, 25th April, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM prompt
Venue: APC Secretariat, Ungwan Yelwa Television, Chikun LGA

The event will bring together Party Leaders, Stakeholders, Appointees, Support Groups, Youths and Women Groups as well as Well-Wishers from across the Constituency.

Speaking ahead of the declaration, Hon. Bagudu said the decision to seek another term is borne out of wide consultations and the need to consolidate on the gains recorded within his short time in office.

“I came in through your mandate, and together we have started a journey of visible representation. I am offering myself again to continue the work of giving Chikun/Kajuru a strong voice at the National Assembly,” Hon. Bagudu stated.

Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu Pays Tribute to Late Dr. Patrick Katuka.

It is with profound sadness that we received the passing of Dr. Patrick Katuka, Senior Political Counsellor to the Member, House of Representatives for Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, who died yesterday.

Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu described Dr. Katuka as a dedicated Public Servant, Seasoned Political Strategist, and a loyal Son of the Constituency whose wisdom and counsel shaped many progressive initiatives. His commitment to the development of Chikun/Kajuru and his unwavering service to the people will be deeply missed.

“Dr. Patrick Katuka was more than a Political Counsellor; he was a Pillar of Strength, a Bridge Builder, and a True Patriot,” Hon. Bagudu said “His passing leaves a vacuum in our political family and in the hearts of all who knew him. We have lost a Mentor, a Brother, and a Tireless Advocate for our people.”

We pray for the peaceful repose of his Soul and for strength for his Family and Loved Ones to bear this irreparable loss.

APC PRAISES HON. F.J BAGUDU FOR DONATING 20 MILLION NAIRA DURING THE RECENTLY CONCLUDED APC e-REGISTRATION EXERCISE.

The leadership and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Chikun and Kajuru Local Government wish to express heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, Member of the House of Representatives, for his outstanding support and dedication to the party's growth and development.

During the recently concluded APC Party e-Registration exercise, Hon. Bagudu demonstrated a remarkable commitment to the party's cause by generously donating N10 million to Chikun Local Government Area and N5 million to Kajuru Local Government Area to facilitate the smooth conduct of the exercise. Additionally, he deployed a Support Team to complement the efforts of the overwhelmed registration team, expended about N5 Million naira.

Statement of Condolence on the Passing of Dr. Chamberlain.

It is with great shock and sadness that I received the news of Dr. Chamberlain's passing. As a member of the National Assembly, I am still trying to come to terms with this loss.

Dr. Chamberlain was a dedicated public servant and a valued member of our team, serving as DCOS to the Mr. Speaker. His contributions to the office and the nation will not be forgotten.

My condolences go out to his family and loved ones. May he rest in peace.

It is with profound sadness that I visited Kila Town, Gwaram Local Government, Jigawa State today to offer my heartfelt condolences to Alhaji Sani Kila, Chief of Staff to Governor Uba Sani, on the passing of his beloved Father Mallam Mohammed Sani Mukkadas Kila.

During this difficult time, I extend my deepest sympathies to Alhaji Kila and his family, praying that the Almighty God will grant them the strength to bear the irreparable loss. May the departed soul's legacy live on through the memories of his loved ones.

I stand in solidarity with the family, and I pray that the bereaved finds solace in the love and support of friends, family, and well-wishers.
