NDLEA KADUNA STATE COMMAND COLLABORATE WITH FEDERAL FIRE SERVICES
Today being 7th day of May, 2026. The State Commander of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Kaduna State Command CN Maijama'a Muhammad paid a courtesy and familiarization visit to the Zonal Controller of Federal Fire Services ACG Ahmad Garba (Tafidan Karaye).
The State Commander CN Maijama'a Muhammad appreciate the Zonal Controller for the warm reception accorded to him and his entourage. I am here to formally introduce myself as the new State Commander and seek for more support and collaborations.
He stated that; Drug Abuse and illicit substances are the major contributors to National Instability, therefore it's required a coordinated approach in the fight against drug abuse, rather than to fight the menace in isolations.
He further explained the physical, psychological and social consequences of drug abuse. He also avail the Zonal Controller with NDLEA Drug Testing kits, which can be used to ascertain your children or anyone under your supervision is free from drug abuse.
In his response, the Zonal Controller ACG Ahmad Garba welcomed the Commander NDLEA, our mandate is fire and rescue services and any other emergency situations like flood, building collapse and accidents.
He further stated that, we take maximum risk to save lives and properties.
Drug abuse is very harmful to our health and we are committed to work and collaborate with NDLEA for a better and free society.

COMMANDER NDLEA PAID A COURTESY VISIT TO ZAZZAU EMIRATE
In an effort to curb the menace of drug Abuse and illicit substances amongst our youth and Communities; the Commander, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Kaduna State Command, CN Maijama'a Muhammad on Thursday 30th April,2026. Paid a courtesy and familiarization visit to His Royal Highness, Chairman Council of Traditional Rulers Kaduna State, the Emir of Zazzau, Amb. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli CFR.
In his statement the Commander, CN Maijama'a Muhammad thanked the Emir for the warm reception and further seek for more support and cooperation in the fight against drug abuse and illicit substances.
He also stated that 95% of illicit substances are not manufactured here in kaduna but were been smuggled into the state. He also emphasize on the NDLEA operational approach which include:
-To reduce the supply of the illicit substances into the state through our interdiction operations.
-To enlighten our people on the dangers of drug abuse through creating awareness and sensitizations.
In his remark, His Royal Highness, Amb. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli CFR welcomed the Commander and reaffirm his support to NDLEA and the Agency at large.
He congratulate the commander on the successes recorded within the period under his leadership. Drug crimes is an international organised crime with syndicates all over the world. I salute your courage and resilience in the fight against drug abuse.
He prayed for the Commander and wish him success and appreciate the Area commands in Zaria for their deligent duties.

These are cannabis sativa popularly know as wiwi. It's intercepted by our operatives along Kaduna - Zaria high way. 760 blocks and 335 sacks of cannabis weighed 847kg.
Say no to drug abuse and drug trafficking.
