INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY MESSAGE FROM NSCDC KADUNA STATE COMMAND

1st October 2026

As Nigeria marks her 66th Independence Anniversary, I extend, on behalf of the Kaduna State Command and on my own behalf, warm felicitations to the government and good people of Kaduna State and Nigerians at home and abroad.

I also convey the warm greetings and goodwill of the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, to all Nigerians as we commemorate this significant national milestone.

This anniversary is not merely a celebration of our independence; it is a solemn reminder of the sacrifices, responsibilities and patriotism required to preserve the peace, unity and sovereignty of our nation.

As personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, our mandate places upon us the sacred responsibility of protecting critical national assets and infrastructure, safeguarding lives and property, maintaining peace and order, and supporting other security agencies in securing our nation.

I therefore charge all personnel of the Kaduna State Command to remain resilient, disciplined and unwavering in the discharge of their duties. In the face of emerging security challenges, we must remain uncompromising in our commitment to duty, resolute in service and steadfast in our loyalty to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Let us always remember that the uniform we wear represents the trust and confidence of the Nigerian people. We must therefore uphold the highest standards of professionalism, courage, integrity and respect for the law in the discharge of our responsibilities.

On this solemn occasion, I pay tribute to the gallant officers and men of the Corps and other security agencies who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in the service of our fatherland. Their courage, patriotism and unwavering devotion to duty shall remain a lasting reminder of the price paid for the peace and security we enjoy today.

May their sacrifices never be in vain.

As we celebrate 66 years of nationhood, let us renew our collective commitment to a peaceful, united and prosperous Nigeria. I call on all personnel to continue to serve with renewed determination, knowing that every act of courage, every lawful intervention and every sacrifice contributes to the Nigeria we desire.

Happy 66th Independence Anniversary, Nigeria!
