484 MINI AMBULANCES FOR KANO’S 484 WARDS

In a major step toward improving access to emergency healthcare, His Excellency, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, has procured 484 mini ambulances for the 484 wards across Kano State, with particular focus on rural communities and hard-to-reach villages.

The ambulances are designed to provide fast and reliable transportation for sick people, pregnant women, and other patients requiring urgent medical attention, especially those living far from major healthcare facilities.

Each ambulance will have two trained drivers and two health workers, ensuring prompt assistance and emergency support during the transportation of patients.

The initiative is part of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s broader health-sector reforms aimed at bringing healthcare closer to the people, strengthening emergency response, and ensuring that residents in rural communities have access to timely medical care.

From urban centres to remote villages, the administration is taking healthcare closer to the people.

His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, alongside other dignitaries and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), today attended the inauguration of the Kano State Executive Committee of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), as well as the reception of new members into the APC.

The event, held at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano, brought together party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and other distinguished guests.

Following the inauguration, His Excellency, alongside other dignitaries, commissioned the TSG Head Office in Kano and unveiled vehicles provided to facilitate the group’s activities and operations.

Alhamdulillah! Gwamnatin Jihar Kano Ta Warware Rikicin BUK–Rimin Zakara na Shekaru 50!

Bayan kusan shekaru hamsin na takaddama da tashin hankali, Mai Girma Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, Gwamnan Jihar Kano, ya ɗauki matakai masu ƙarfi da gaggawa domin kawo ƙarshen dogon rikicin ƙasa tsakanin Jami’ar Bayero Kano (BUK) da mazauna Rimin Zakara.

Mai Girma Gwamna Abba Kabir Yusuf ya jajirce sosai wajen tabbatar da anyi adalci, sulhu da samar da zaman lafiya mai ɗorewa, ta hanyar biyan diyya ga masu filayen da abin ya shafa, tare da biyan kuɗin gine-ginen da ke kan waɗannan filaye.

Wannan mataki ya zama babban tarihi, domin ya kawo ƙarshen rikicin da ya ɗauki kusan shekaru 50, tare da samar da mafita mai adalci ga waɗanda abin ya shafa.

Alhamdulillah! The 50-Year BUK–Rimin Zakara Crisis Has Been Resolved By Kano State Government

After nearly five decades of dispute and tensions, His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, Executive Governor of Kano State, has taken decisive and timely steps to bring an end to the long-standing land dispute between Bayero University Kano (BUK) and the residents of Rimin Zakara.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has made significant efforts to ensure justice, reconciliation and lasting peace through the payment of compensation to affected landowners and payment for structures situated on the affected plots.

This marks a historic milestone, bringing an end to a dispute that has lasted for almost 50 years, while providing a fair resolution for those affected.

All affected persons who have been verified by the Department of State Services (DSS) are invited to attend the programme as follows:
