“Empowering one youth is like empowering a generation, because every skill learned today becomes a seed for tomorrow’s development”

Alhamdulilla!
We have successfully completed the one-month intensive training program for 50 young people, titled “Digital SME Launchpad.”

The training was facilitated by Lumilab and organized by Kebram Tech in collaboration with the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Katsina State Chapter. The program was designed to equip young people with practical digital and entrepreneurial skills that would enable them to establish and manage small and medium-scale enterprises in the digital space.

At the closing ceremony, certificates were presented to all 50 participants who successfully completed the training. The event was attended by notable dignitaries including the leadership of the NYCN State Executive Council, the NYCN Local Government Coordinators’ Forum, the Director General of KATDICT, Sir Naufal Ahmad, the Speaker of the Nigerian Youth Parliament (NYP), Sir Aliyu Idris Zakari, Representative of the Chairman Nigerian Youth Congress, Malam Abubakar Salisu Charanchi, among others.

We wish to specially appreciate Sir Kabir Kabir Kebram, for partnering with us to actualize this great initiative. His dedication and commitment played a major role in the success of the program. We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Director General, National Gallery of Art, Sir Ahmad Sodangi for empowering all the 50 participants with support to add value to their businesses, and to the DG of KATDICT for his unwavering support towards youth empowerment and digital inclusion in Katsina State.

A special appreciation also goes to the Speaker of the Nigerian Youth Parliament for his inspiring commitment to youth development and for promising to carry the beneficiaries along in the upcoming “Katsina Youth Dialogue”, as well as his generous pledge to provide 10GB of data to each participant to aid their digital learning.

To the facilitators and participants, we say a big thank you for your punctuality, discipline and maturity throughout the program. Your dedication truly reflects the spirit of the new generation of Katsina youths who are ready to embrace innovation and self-reliance.

Finally, we call on the government, development partners and well-meaning individuals to continue supporting youth-centered initiatives like this, in order to ensure sustainability and broader impact. In my State Chairman’s remarks, he encouraged the participants to share the knowledge they have acquired with others, so that the benefits of this program can reach many more young people.

The ceremony concluded with prayers for the progress and prosperity of our youth, and for peace and stability in Katsina State and Nigeria at la
