He told you he would remove fuel subsidy during his 2023 campaign and he did and 113.3 million Nigerians were thrown into multi dimensional poverty according to 2026 Global Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) released October 12, 2026 by UNDP and OPHI (Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative): just by that policy.
Now , he is telling you by 2027 and 2028 they will remove electricity subsidy. ( your electricity price go high)
They will remove Gas regulations ( your gas price go high )
The full implementation of the tax laws will come into full effect. Any income above N800k will be tax 25%
And many more .....
These if implemented will add another 30 - 40 million people into multi dimensional poverty index.
You would think you are doing well right now because you earn a little better or your business is doing fine, but when those policies come into full effect , your wages won't be able to foot your bills as they would automatically go up and then you join the statistic of the poor.
