🚨💣BREAKING: Injury updates ahead of EPL return this weekend🤩💙✅

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Reece James has been working on his recovery from a hamstring injury during the international break. The severity of the Chelsea captain's latest problem remains undisclosed.

🇪🇨 Xabi Alonso will be hoping to call upon Moises Caicedo for the visit of Bournemouth. The Ecuadorian midfielder has played just 14 minutes this season due to a persistent calf issue but is nearing his return to action. The player has been working hard on his recovery behind the scenes during the ongoing international break.

🇧🇷 Joao Pedro pulled out of the Brazil squad for the international break due to a knee injury. Chelsea's No.9 has not been pictured in any of the first-team training sessions over the break and we await to hear an update from Alonso later in the week.

Xabi Alonso hoping to call upon Moises Caicedo for the visit of Bournemouth, this could be the perfect time for Chelsea to make a serious push.

Arsenal are dealing with injuries and low confidence. Man City still have the weight of those 114 charges hanging over them, and you can’t tell me that isn’t having some effect on the players psychologically.

Then there’s Caicedo potentially returning. His availability would give Chelsea a huge boost, especially defensively.

If we get our key players back and find some consistency, this could be where Chelsea’s title charge really starts.

Havertz, Saliba, Tzolis and Rice are dealing with injuries,

Karma, I guess.

Ødegaard, Saka and David Raya are all opposites of what people think they are..

Brighton beating them 3-0 wasn’t a surprise. Now I’m expecting Leeds to follow the same footsteps.

Club football needs to come back. I want to see how long Arsenal can hold onto second.

Last season, Arsenal basically cheated their way to their first title after 22 years.

Every ref decisions went their way. You push them, you get a card. They push you, Nothing.

You Kick them, it's a yellow. They kick you, Nothing.

Somehow. In the box, if they touch you, it's a penalty for them. If you touch them, same thing. One-sided all season.

Now karma's catching up with them. They're now struggling to win, picking up injuries, and they don't look like a team capable of defending the same title they didn't really earn.

Losing 3-0 to the same Brighton side Chelsea beat says it all. To be honest, I Can't wait to humiliate them at Stamford Bridge.

🚨 Chelsea are “On it” for Alex Scott. They see Scott as ideal player in midfield.

Chelsea are in contact with people close to the player and are working on it. The whole summer at Chelsea was about Alex Scott but it wasn’t possible.

I would not be surprised if they are back with bids in the future.

Do Chelsea reallt need another €100M attacker?

They already have enough quality in the squad to compete with the best teams in England. What they need is consistency, ruthless finishing and a manager who gets the maximum out of the players already there.

If Xabi Alonso gets this Chelsea side playing at their absolute best, this team can seriously challenge for the Premier League.
