The 8th anniversary of the Stampout Drug Abuse Initiative commenced on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, with an awareness program on substance abuse held at Positive Learning Point College in Baruwa, Ipaja, Lagos. During the question-and-answer session, exceptional students received awards and recognition.

The Stampout Drug Abuse Initiative is commemorating its 8th anniversary. Celebratory activities include drug education in schools, awareness road shows highlighting the dangers of drug abuse, media engagements across electronic and print platforms, and the launch of a documentary titled 'The Journey So Far', among others.

Commemorating the 2026 World Social Work Day, the Nigeria Association of Social Workers Lagos State Chapter hosted students from Falomo Senior High School Ikoyi Lagos for a program centered on social issues including drug abuse, featuring Executive Director Stampout Drug Abuse Initiative as part of the team.

On Wednesday, 4th March 2026, the Muslim for Family Development and Advancement Initiative (MUSFADA) in collaboration with the Stampout Drug Abuse Initiative successfully hosted the 2026 Ramadan Drug Education seminar for public secondary school students in Lagos. Food items were distributed to the students, while the Stampout Drug Abuse Initiative disseminated 'The Truth About Drugs' booklet to participants and awarded gifts to outstanding students during the question-and-answer session.
