Father And Son Conversations.

Dive: Daddy, today is Sunday. As you promised me yesterday, please help me to bring my bicycle from the store. I want to ride it together with my friend, Uzor.

Daddy: Yes, I indeed promised you yesterday but something happened this early morning that makes me not feel disposed to grant your request. I will not bring out your bicycle today.

Dive: Daddy, why not now? Remember, your promises to me.

Daddy: I remember. It is that something happened in our neighborhood. Mama Nono died early this morning. Therefore, I don't want you to be running around with the bicycle. Let's honor her.

Dive: Okay Dad. But was Mummy Nono your sister, Daddy?

Daddy: Dive, Mummy Nono was not my sister but she was a good and caring neighbor. Okay!

Dive: Okay, Dad!

After this harmless discussion between Dive and his father, something came up that warranted Daddy Dive to use his bicycle to dispatch a message urgently within the neighborhood, which he did.

On coming back, Dive and Uzor, his friend, were waiting for his father with questions on why he violated the rule he set for them which was the reason why they couldn't ride their bicycle around the street.

Dive: Daddy, you went out with your bicycle, right?

Daddy: Yes.

Dive: Why did you violate the rule you set for us that denied us the liberty to ride around the street with my bicycle? Daddy, please allow me to take the bicycle with my friend to the adjoining street to ride there.

At this junction, Daddy had no option but to give in to the request of his son, Dive. He then took them to the adjoining street with the bicycle to ride it there and the children were pleased with him.

Lessons.

Rules are made to be obeyed. Therefore, don't set discriminatory rules before your children. Children are very observant beings. They are always on the lookout to see how you match your actions with your words. Children are not only tickled by words, but by the alignment, your words have with your actions. That is the mark of integrity.

Therefore, whenever you make a rule, endeavor to ensure that the same rule applies to you.

As it is written, it is the hearers and doers of the words that would be justified.

It is and Tuesday.

Be mindful and thoughtful of your words and actions to align them, and they will create unimaginable impact and influence over your children and wards now and in the future.

It is and our word for the week is DAWN.

There are no two days that are the same apart from having an equal number of hours 24. Even so are the challenges of each day but they are inseparably intertwined to shape who you eventually become in life.

Your ability to arrange and align your activities towards set targets will make you a stand-out performer over time. To successfully do so means that you have an understanding of the correlation between time movement and life movement.

Time and life movements run in cumulative additives. Time moves from seconds to a minute, minutes to an hour, hours to a day, days to a week, weeks to a month, months to a year, and years to a lifetime. Also, life moves in a broad sense, from birth to infancy, infancy to childhood, childhood to adulthood, and adulthood to the elderly.

Furthermore, the day is segmented into four parts: morning, afternoon, evening, and night and they are aligned to the life cycle of a man. The interpretation of the activities expected and assigned to each of these parts of the life cycle of a man will allow you as parents and or childcare givers to properly tailor your tasks in parenting and training your children and wards according to the stages of life they are in.

Therefore, as the dawn announces the emergence of light in the horizons with the spark of energy, power, and optimism parents and child caregivers should brace up, be prepared, and be ready to take up the challenges of child training that have come to stay with the increase in knowledge at the dawn of this century.

At the dawn of this century, which I call the century of sound, speed, and light, information has been traveling at the speed of light and sound. Few parents who are of the analog age and are aware have been playing catch up and second fiddle to their children who are ahead on time while the majority of the analog-age parents and child caregivers who are left frustrated have given up their duties.

The aftereffects of neglected duties and responsibilities of proper upbringing of our children and wards are upon us right now. Violent reactions and distorted background noise are echoing in every society calling for the attention of parents, government, and non-governmental organizations to the dangers of having a collapsed family structure.

It is evidenced so far that the new dawn comes with challenges and opportunities but it is only the prepared, ready, and willing minds that can find within the challenges thrown up by the new dawn the immense opportunities inherent in it.

I pray to God to grant parents and child caregivers insightful information, understanding, and wisdom to explore and exploit the opportunities of the new dawn for the bliss and peace of their homes and society in general.

The Dawn heralds first the presence of light in the horizons at the onset of a new day. It comes with radiant effects of light that ignite your inner mind to search within it for the endless possibilities you once had as a child.

It is the same effect that the dawn of a new day is supposed to have in your life if only you can live your life in the present by taking rightful thoughts through actions that will produce the tomorrow of your dreams. Yesterday is gone and gone forever but not without leftovers of both positives and negatives.

Beware of yesterday's luggage. Go for the lessons. Hand pick up the lessons and move on with your life. Life is full of ‘trivial many and vital few.’

The right mix of new dawn comes with a spark of spiritual awakening that will lead you to seek deep down within you the latent potential to nourish and groom to fruition a solution for other people's pain points. It is this that helps you evolve into a better, greater, and higher version of you which tomorrow should represent in its rightful context.

Therefore, as parents, childcare givers, and leaders of various homes and setups that breed lives you should be mindful and thoughtful of your thoughts through actions as the champions of children and wards. You are the leading light of your children and wards. On the flip, you can be a leading darkness or destroyer of your children and wards.

Parenthood and parenting are onerous tasks with varied responsibilities that must not be neglected. Effective and efficient parenthood and parenting remain the beacon of hope for blissful and peaceful homes, a wonderful world.

THE WORD FOR THE WEEK IS REALIZATION

Realization is the awareness you have of who you are, what you are, and where you are in life today. You can recognize your potential unutilized versus your utilized potential.

Realization is the state of awakening that comes with a conscious assessment of who you are now versus who you should have been and in the process figure out the reasons for the why's differential gaps that exist in your life to fix them.

The state of realization queries the status quo to address and reorder your wrong steps of the past that have produced undesirable results that confront you today.

Realization orchestrates radical decisions and actions that enforce and empower you to take total turnaround steps in your life now for the better, greater, and higher versions of you and tomorrow.

Realization enforces and empowers you to take a critical assessment of your steps so far to know whether it is right to fast-pace, retrieve, and or reorder your steps in the right direction.

Realization makes you shave pride and shame to right your wrongs of yesterday.

Realization makes you take conscious decisions and action steps in humility to right your wrongs with purposeful intentionality and consistency to have the desired results you long for.

Realization is what leads to rebirth and restoration.

This was what led to the coming home of the prodigal son to the waiting hands and embrace of his father. Also, the children of Israel whenever they went wayward in disobedience to the laws of the Lord were overrun by their enemy neighbors and nations who would take them captives.

When in their captivity and in their suffering realized from whence they had fallen out of favor of God, they would repent and turn away from their evil ways, cry and pray with contrite, humble, and broken hearts and they were forgiven and restored by the Lord God Almighty.

Your God is the Almighty God for with Him nothing shall be impossible. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is the Lord God that pardons all our iniquities and heals all our diseases. His mercies endureth forever.

You now must do a critical analysis of yourself and the duties assigned to you to see where you have fallen short of expectations as His steward and co-creator with Him in procreation and repent of your wrongdoings. He is faithful and just to forgive all your wrongdoings and restore you and your family today.

Your family, your family life, and all that God has in custody with you as His steward on earth are important to Him. That is why He is called ABBA FATHER, Your Source, Sustainer, and Defender. Leverage His strengths now for He is your refuge.

AT THE CROSS ROAD OF LIFE

When it is hard to affirm what God says you are,you will tend to believe that you are the cause of your problem than pointing 👉 accusing fingers at anyone whatsoever.

That singular act brings with it self doubt, unbelieve,and depressive thoughts.

It is in such moments that you will prefer to be alone. However,there is more danger in being alone because it could lead to being lonely if it is not properly managed.

It is in your seeking to manage the alone time to avoid being lonely that you will understand the importance of intimacy and relationships.

To be in intimate relationship with anyone or being means that you have chosen and accepted to go with the vulnerability that is inseparably intertwined with it.

Hence, therefore, you are left with a choice as to who you would like to be in intimate relationship with: God or man?

At every turn of the way, your intimacy with God is better option but man is a relational being as such you cannot take out man in the intimate relationship equation as long as you are still within your earthen cloth,the body.

In all,I have come to realize that life is challenging but Almighty God is faithful for with Him nothing shall be impossible to you.

Look up and see Him despite all your challenges and you will be at peace with yourself. He is your peace amidst your troubled waters of life.
