Honorable Oluwabori Awofodu- Shomolu 1

Three things I have learnt in this journey:

1. Shomolu deserves more
2. Residents of Shomolu are tired of the status quo
3. Shomolu indeed can be a home for all.

Since the launch of the campaign season, I have seen with my eyes and heard with my ears the concerns of my people in Shomolu. From Alade market to Onipanu, to Morocco, to Bajulaiye to Fadeyi, etc. I believe things can be done better, I believe we can get it right, I believe in the youths of Shomolu.

I am Honorable Oluwabori Oluwaseye Awofodu (Bibire Shomolu) contesting for the Lagos State House of Assembly Shomolu Constituency 1 under Action Alliance Party.

There is a dream and there is a voice.

As we go round the streets of having conversations and interacting with people both the elderly and the young, one thing that is constant is that the residents of Shomolu crave for something better and a Shomolu that is indeed a home for all.

We know that we can deliver this and many more to the residents of Shomolu but we need the trust and the support of everyone to make it happen.

There is indeed Hope for Shomolu and that hope will not fail.

In the life of a man, there is always that time when the call of an higher purpose beckons and the choice of following the voice or returning back to status quo stairs us in the face.

My goal for Shomolu 1 constituency Lagos if given the opportunity, is to achieve three (3) cardinal goals which are:

1. Empowerment and Business Opportunities to the Elderly and Widowed men and women.

2. Skill Acquisition and Funding for the young adults while providing free education for about 100 under privileged children across the 6 wards within the constituency.

3. Making Shomolu a home for all- which covers security for lives and property, collaborations with property developers in ensuring affordable housing for all, etc.

To make the above happen, the work most start now!
