President Muhammadu Buhari is a patriot. This was his speech before his re-election in 2019. Nigeria is blessed to have somebody like him. *He told his audience that he has campaigned very well in all the 36 states of the Federation and as such, Nigerians should vote for whoever they like. He warned sternly that nobody should rig the election*. This is exactly what he is preaching in respect of the election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He is sure that Asiwaju and his team have done the needful. He is however providing a level playing ground for all the Parties. What a Leader! We salute your courage, our President. May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

- CBN Governor

The lame excuse purportedly given by the embattled CBN Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele as shown above is at best pedestrian.
It is typical of an excuse that a very junior employee in a place of work will give to his or her boss whenever he or she is found wanting in the discharge of a responsibility.
It is absurd that the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria will descend so low to create such cook and bull story.
Definitely, Mr Godwin Emefiele is not telling Nigerians all he knows about the failure of the Naira redesign policy. There are a number of questions that Mr. Emefiele need to provide answers to:
1. Were there Strategic meetings between him and the top echelon of the Bank and other critical stakeholders before embarking on this policy?
2. At what point was the decision to change the Naira taken?
3. Are there reasons to suggest that the Naira redesign policy would have been pursued if Mr Emefiele has emerged as the Presidential flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress?
4. Was the decision to change the Naira taken by the Governor of the Apex Bank alone before presenting it to the President for his concurrence? Who and who made inputs into that decision?
5. Was the CBN Governor not aware that enough currency notes have not been printed before insisting on some unrealistic deadlines for phasing out the "old" currency notes?
6. Are there other ulterior motives that the Naira redesign policy meant to achieve other than those lofty objectives of preventing vote buying, curb ransom payment, etc that were said to have been presented to Mr President and the general public?
Now that Mr. Godwin Emefiele has finally opened up to the challenges being encountered to print the newly redesigned currency, coupled with his earlier insistence on a deadline to phase out the old currency, should he not be tried for *economic and political sabotage?*
What the CBN Governor has done to our dear beloved Country and the great people of Nigeria is too reckless to be ignored. He should be made to account for his actions.

_*CURRENT ISSUES IN THE POLITY*_

Dear Compatriots,

I thank you all for keeping faith with our Principals, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima in becoming the next President and Vice President respectively of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
To be honest, there have been a lot of developments in the political landscape in the past few weeks that necessitated this message. Those developments are ordinarily to be expected. This is a political contest. It is expected that all the parties and the various tendencies within the parties will use every arsenal within their sphere of influence to ensure they are victorious.
As individuals and supporters of the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), we should not be disappointed. On the contrary, the current happenings is a pointer that we are on the right path. As such, we should be resolute more than ever before in joining our compatriots in all the different parts of Nigeria to ensure that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima are victorious in the Presidential election slated for 25th of this month.
However, this is not a time to insult ourselves as individuals or as groups. One thing is certain: we don't have all the necessary information to make an informed opinion about the variables dictating the current situation because some of those details may *_never_* be made public anyway.
However, there is something that is sacrosanct in the upcoming election. And that is the fact that the election is still "one man one vote"😁
The detractors are only looking for one thing: to put the support base of our Principals in disarray. They are aware that we shall carry the day if we go into the polls as we are currently.
It is now our own responsibility to prove to them that we are wiser. And the only way we can do this is not to be perturbed by whatever events that are happening. Those events are artificial and politically motivated. Specifically, there is no basis for the current fuel scarcity and the Naira scarcity.
Let us go into the election as a united front that is determined to bring about positive change in the narratives of our dear fatherland.
Let me reiterate once again that we are supporting Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima for the top jobs in the land because we believe in their capacity to govern Nigeria for the betterment of Nigeria and the overall benefit of the greater majority of Nigerians.
As individuals, we have resolved to put the twin issues of ethnicity and religion behind us. This is because we know that these are the two major issues that the enemies of Nigeria have used to divide the people of Nigeria from independence to date and as such ensure that Nigeria remain underdeveloped.
We are all queuing behind our Principals today because we know that they believe so much in a United Nigeria.
Once again, ladies and gentlemen, let the struggle continue until we achieve victory at the polls.
Yours truly in the service of our fatherland,

Clement Adefulire (FCA)

ON OBJ'S SUPPORT FOR MR PETER OBI

That OBJ endorses a candidate in Nigeria of today is good, but that does not necessarily translate to any known electoral value.
To be honest, it is good that OBJ has decided to go with Peter Obi. We don't want his presence to taint our own candidate as a tribal warlord.
