OSHODI-ISOLO LGA TVET INSTITUTE (UNDP ASSISTED)
Oshodi-Isolo TVET Institute was established by United Nation Development Programme (UNDP), in the year 2003 as an intervention project to assist and employ Youths, both men and women at the grassroots level so as to achieve one of the aims of theSustainable Development Goals SDGs 1&2 which is alleviating poverty and Zero hunger in our society.
VISION:
1. Alleviation of Poverty.
2. Reduction of Unemployment
3. Reducing Hunger to Zero in the community(Oshodi).
So far, since establishment, the institute has trained well over Twenty Thousand (20,000) Youth and Vulnerable women within and outside the community (Oshodi) on various Vocational & Technical skills ranging from Tailoring, Hairdressing and Cosmetology, Facials, Medicure & Pedicure Bead-making, Desktop Publishing, Computer Engineering, website development, Digital Marketing, Photography, Screen Printing, Catering and Hotel Management, Tie and Dye, Small Chops production, Cocktail and Mocktail, Bag Making, Screen Printing, Household chemicals, Tiling & Mensory, plumbing, carpentry, Interlocking paving Stones production Etc.
At the institute, we give Technical & Vocational Training skills that translate to career job for better TOMORROW.
