A toddler, Christianah Akanbi, aged 2, of Yawota Baptist Nursery and Primary School is among the 46 persons.

39 students – were abducted from Community High School Ahoro-Esinele and Yawota Baptist Nursery and Primary School.

Thirty-nine children are tonight living through fear no child should ever know — separated from their families, uncertain of tomorrow, and trapped in trauma that may leave scars for years.

In Oyo State, the pain is not only carried by grieving parents, but by an entire society watching innocence come under attack.

Every passing hour deepens the anguish, anxiety and emotional devastation for these children and their loved ones. No community can thrive when its children are unsafe.

Authorities and security agencies must act with urgency, coordination and compassion to secure the immediate release of these children and reunite them with their families.

Nigeria’s children deserve protection, not terror. Silence and delay are not options.

Nigeria continues to face painful moments of kidnapping, insurgency, and senseless killings across different parts of the country.

Our thoughts remain with the families who have lost loved ones and communities affected by these criminal acts.

We commend the gallant men and women of the Nigerian Armed Forces and other security agencies for their courage, sacrifices, and recent successes in dismantling criminal networks, rescuing victims, and restoring peace in troubled areas.

Their patriotism and commitment to national security remain deeply appreciated.

However, more must be done through stronger intelligence gathering, improved welfare for security personnel, modern security equipment, community collaboration, and swift justice against perpetrators of violence.

Nigeria must stand united against terror and insecurity.

Together, with sustained military action and collective national support, we can reclaim lasting peace, protect innocent lives, and build a safer future for every citizen.

Education and Skills Are Foundational

Access to education and business skills remains critical.

Institutionalized training programs must equip women with financial literacy, digital skills, and management capacity.

Knowledge is a powerful equalizer.

ARSENAL CELEBRATIONS 🇦🇹🏆

After 22 years of emotional damage, calculator mathematics, “next season” speeches, and trusting the process with the faith of Abraham, Arsenal Football Club are finally Premier League champions again.

The streets of North London have been declared a public holiday zone.

Productivity across offices has collapsed.

Grown men are crying.

Former banter victims are walking with confidence for the first time since secondary school.

We would also like to officially acknowledge a historic timeline:

A girl born the last time Arsenal won the league is now old enough to:
• finish university,
• have a career,
• pay taxes,
• and in many African homes… be receiving “when are we coming to eat rice?” questions from relatives.

This is not just a trophy.

This is generational healing.

To all Arsenal fans who survived the era of fourth-place trophies, “good football,” and annual February heartbreaks — your resilience has finally been rewarded.

God bless Mikel Arteta.

God bless North London.

And may rival fans find the strength to cope in this difficult time.

Small businesses are the heartbeat of Nigeria’s economy. From local shops to young startups, they create jobs, drive innovation, and support millions of families. Yet many struggle with poor infrastructure, limited funding, multiple taxation, and unstable policies.

This is why advocacy matters. Strong advocacy gives small businesses a voice, pushes for better policies, easier access to finance, fair regulations, and a more supportive environment for entrepreneurs to thrive.

When small businesses grow, communities prosper, unemployment reduces, and the nation moves forward. Supporting SMEs is not just economic policy — it is nation building. 🇳🇬
