I attended a naming -we can't call it a ceremony- early Sunday morning last week and the father of the new born baby is one of my Omo ilekeu's father and he is Hausa, there I witnessed the Hausa naming version and it make sense, within 30mins we don finish, dey don dey serve food no paparazzi and serere unlike awa Yoruba own 😂

Before give birth to children, you live for yourself. After having children, you live as an example.

They may not always listen to what you say, but they will always copy what you do. So live right,because your life is their lesson.

Every human is a seed of their parents and a product of their teachers. Who we become is shaped by their sacrifices and guidance.

If our parents are alive, honor them with good deeds and respect. If they have passed on, remember them in sincere du‘ā.

The best way to repay them is to live righteously and become a source of goodness for them, in this life and the hereafter.
