Alao Innocent Champions Continuity, Highlights Oshomah's Landmark Educational Intervention

Comrade Prince Alao Innocent has called attention to the developmental strides recorded in Ward 1, Etsako Central Local Government Area, particularly the educational intervention initiated by the Edo State House of Assembly Member representing Etsako Central Constituency, Hon. Barr. Ahmed Waziri Oshomah.
Speaking during a sensitisation engagement with members of his ward, Comrade Alao highlighted the construction of a block of four classrooms at Igbhaghidi Primary School, describing the project as a significant investment in the educational future of the people.

According to Comrade Alao, the intervention has provided Ward 1 with an important educational facility and represents a notable departure from the situation that existed before the project. He stated that the establishment of the school has created a much-needed platform for children in the area to access basic education within their community.

He further expressed optimism that the availability of the newly constructed classrooms would facilitate the deployment of teachers and other essential educational resources, thereby giving the facility the capacity to serve its intended purpose effectively. Comrade Alao urged the people of Ward 1 to come out en masse in 2027 to support Hon. Barr. Ahmed Waziri Oshomah, noting that continued representation would help facilitate the deployment of teachers to the newly constructed school and attract more developmental interventions to the people of Ward 1.
Comrade Alao maintained that the value of representation should be measured not only by promises but also by tangible interventions that respond to the needs of the people. He therefore emphasised the importance of sustaining developmental efforts so that existing projects can be consolidated and new opportunities created across Ward 1 and the wider Etsako Central Constituency.

As the constituency looks towards 2027, Comrade Alao reaffirmed his support for continuity, describing Hon. Barr. Ahmed Waziri Oshomah’s record of interventions as a basis for continued engagement with the people and further development across the constituency.

2026 Independence Day: Hon. Barr. Ahmed Waziri Oshomah Sends A Good Will Message On The Occasion Of The Nation's 66th Year Anniversary .

The Edo State House of Assembly Member representing Etsako Central Constituency, Dr. Hon. Barr. Ahmed Waziri Oshomah has sent a good will message to Nigeria and Nigerians both home and in diaspora on the occasion of the Nation's Independence day celebration.

In his words; "I celebrate another significant milestone in our nation’s history. With hearts full of gratitude and reflection, we thank the Almighty God for guarding us through 66years of independence as a sovereign nation and people"

As it stands today, we cannot ignore the shadows cast by the checkered past of our nation, particularly the dark chapter of the civil war that destroyed our beloved land for long and painful years. We remember the lives lost and the countless families torn apart, with over 2.5 million Nigerians perished and a large numbers displaced, both at home and abroad, including battlefield deaths, ethnic cleansing, and starvation. It is a stark reminder of the cost of division and discord.

Amidst the ruins of that time, we have persevered, united by a common purpose and an unwavering determination to rebuild our nation. We have proven that what unites us as Nigerians far stronger than what divides us.

Today, we celebrate not just the anniversary of our independence but also the resilience of our people who, through all challenges, have clung to the hope of a united and prosperous Nigeria. 66 years ago, we broke free from the chains of colonialism and embarked on a journey of self-discovery and progress. As we mark this milestone, let us remember the sacrifices of our heroes past, who fought tirelessly for our freedom. Let us honor their legacy by uniting for a brighter future.

On this day, I extend my sincere gratitude to my fellow constituents and Nigerians for their tenacity and commitment to preserving our statehood and sovereignty despite our internal differences. It is this unity and determination that have enabled us to overcome the darkest of times and move toward a brighter future.

I implore us to continue to stand tall with pride for our nation’s achievements, and let us march forward with renewed resolve and hope to overcome the challenges that lie ahead. Together, united as one people, we will build a Nigeria that continues to shine as a beacon of hope and progress in Africa and the world.

May we celebrate many more prosperous and peaceful years as an independent and sovereign nation.

The DNA of opposing what is good and what is working for the people seems to be in their blood, provided it is not coming directly from them. That is a clear example of jealousy and self-aggrandisement. They lost the ticket during the primary, but desperation and self-interest did not allow them to support the party’s candidate and work for the progress of the party. Instead, they ran to another sinking boat with no grassroots structure, attempting to rob a man from a humble background of the ticket he rightly won. This shows their level of impunity and manipulative mindset.

We have been on this race since 2019. Hon. Barr. Ahmed Waziri Oshomah was massively voted for and won, but he was denied the opportunity to perform his legislative duties for four solid years. Yet, he remained in the party, supported the party, contributed to the growth of the party and invested heavily in its progress. He returned, contested again and won. Today, Oshomah’s achievements are visible across Etsako Central. His record speaks for itself.

A close watch of this video reveals genuine grassroots support anchored on legislative impact, effective service delivery, accessibility, and meaningful community engagement. At any given election, the only name the people want to hear and identify with is Ahmed Waziri Oshomah. To them, any other name is like a ghost or a foreigner. Put all the opposition camps together, and you cannot see this level of genuine grassroots support.
Any camp formed through manipulation and desperation is like a building without a foundation. OSHOMAH’S ticket is one and accepted across the board. The people will reject a ticket that was allegedly robbed from its rightful owner, passed to the highest bidder, and finally handed to someone who relies on his father’s influence on the assumption that others are sons of nobody.

Hon. Barr. Ahmed Waziri Oshomah Fosters Unity And Reconciliation Ahead Of 2027

The Edo State House of Assembly Member representing Etsako Central Constituency, Hon. Barr. Ahmed Waziri Oshomah, held a warm and engaging meet and talk gathering with members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his hometown, Ekperi, Etsako Central.

The informal gathering provided an opportunity for Hon. Barr. Ahmed Waziri Oshomah to appreciate party members for their steadfast support, loyalty and commitment to the APC in Etsako Central. He also used the occasion to call for peace, unity and reconciliation among party members, particularly those who may have felt aggrieved following the outcome of the recent APC primary election that produced him as the party’s flagbearer for the 2027 House of Assembly election.

He emphasised the need for all members and stakeholders to put the primary election behind them and come together as one united family for the task ahead. He noted that the strength of the party lies in its unity and collective commitment, stressing that there is a place for everyone in the journey towards consolidating the gains already recorded and achieving even greater progress for Etsako Central.

The gathering attracted several notable party leaders and stakeholders, including the APC Zone 3 Leader, Comrade Umoru Muhammed Okpapi; Director General, Comrade Abu Benson; Alhaji Chief Waziri Oshomah; Alhaji Musa Jorget; Alhaji Mukhtar; Comrade Sulaiman Bagudu; Chief John Okhimhe; councillors across Etsako Central and other dedicated APC members and supporters.
