Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Abu Ali (August 15, 1980 - November 4, 2016) was more than just a decorated officer in the Nigerian Army - he was a beacon of hope, a symbol of courage, and a beloved prince to the people of Bassa Nge in Kogi state. As the commander of the 272 Tank Battalion, he led with honor and distinction.

His life was tragically cut short in a cowardly ambush by Boko Haram in Malam Fatori, Borno State, leaving behind a legacy of sacrifice, duty, and devotion to his country and his people. His memory continues to inspire and motivate those who knew him and those who follow in his footsteps.

Lt Colonel Mohammed Abu-Ali was a true hero. He showed great leadership and dedication to Nigeria. We should all follow his example and serve our country with honor and courage. His memory reminds us that Nigeria can be great if we work together and put our country first.
