Birdie opened her eyes slowly and the brightness of the room hit her face,she almost closed her eyes again when suddenly she gasp and sat up instantly. She looked around the room,there's no sign of Noah .

"Where did he go to?" Birdie said softly and got down from the bed,she removed her hoodie and tied it around her waist,leaving just her blouse,as she walked past the mirror she turned again to check her face. She removed her hair tie and brushed gently with her fingers,after that she tied it back again.

She made to leave and found Noah standing just by the door,she flinched in shock and moved back before touching her chest.

"You scared me" She muttered,looking at him.

"Do I look scary?" Noah asked.

"No,that's not it. I just.....wasn't expecting you to be behind me" Birdie explained.

"Shouldn't you leave?" Noah asked.

"Ah...." Birdie checked the time and then looked at him again.

"Do you feel better? I was worried last night" She said.

"Did Axel really called you?" Noah asked and Birdie nodded.

"How did you leave your house that late? What if something happened to you?" Noah snapped.

'Gosh he didn't complain last night' Birdie said inwardly but didn't speak up.

Noah moved closer to her and held her hand,he placed some dollars in her palm and Birdie looked up in confusion.

"Thank you" He muttered as if he was forced to say it.

"No,I .........."

"Go,your granny will be worried already" Noah said and Birdie bite her lips.

"Do you think I'm doing this because of money?" She suddenly asked and Noah raised his brows.

"Hey........"

"Why are you giving me money? So I can stay away from you? To get rid of me? Are you trying to tell me.....you're paying me because I came here last night and slept over,you think this is all about money?" Birdie asked hurtfully.

"Geez,such a child" Noah scoffed.

"I hate it when you call me a child or a kid too....."

"Then what are you? An old woman?" Noah asked in a mocking voice.

"If you're not a child,what the héll do you think the money is for? It's for transport of course" Noah said and Birdie looked at her hand,the money was too much to be called a transport fee.

She removed just one of the 100 dollars notes,she grabbed his hand and put the rest in it.

"This one is enough for my Transport in two months and even three,from my house to the restaurant is just two dollars" Birdie muttered.

"Then why can't you just take all and keep it somewhere safe?" Noah asked in confusion

"Because I want to keep coming here,i'm afraid you might ask me to stay away from you if I take all" Birdie replied and Noah groaned,he roughed his hair and looked at her.

"You're such a drama princess" He said and Birdie frowned.

"It's supposed to be drama queen not princess" She said.

"You're not old enough to be a queen,manage that for now" Noah replied and Birdie frowned.

"Stop delaying and leave" Noah dropped the money on the nearest shelf and walked away.

Birdie also went out of the house.

"How can he give me such amount of money for transport? I didn't even ask him for money did I?" She scoffed.

BIRDIE'S APARTMENT**

Hailey came in and met Winona looking so worried,she had called Hailey on the phone asking about Birdie when she couldn't find her in the room early in the morning.

"Granny,,what do you mean by Birdie is not home?" Hailey asked also looking confused.

"I don't think she slept in this house,I've been awake since day break and I didn't hear anything like her leaving,I decided to check her room only to find it empty,I'm so worried" Winona said,,almost tearing up.

"Granny it's okay,I'm sure she didn't go far. She will definitely be back,,she have never done that before" Hailey said and Winona nodded.

"I want to believe that,I want to" She sat down.

"That brat" Hailey mumbled and dialed Birdie's number but almost immediately the door opened and Birdie came in. Winona immediately stood up and ran to her

"Where are you coming from?! Are you okay?! Did anyone hurt you?" She asked impatiently.

"I'm sorry Granny,I didn't tell you before I left the house" Birdie muttered and Winona sighed.

"You should tell me before leaving the house,I was worried"

"I'm sorry" Birdie muttered and the granny nodded.

Birdie faced Hailey who went straight into Birdie's room,she followed her and closed the door.

"So now you've started sneaking out?" Hailey asked.

"It was an emergency" Birdie replied.

"Noah again?" Hailey asked and Birdie nodded.

Hailey groaned.

"Seriously,do you think granny will be happy if she found out you spent the night with a man who's almost eight years older than you?" Hailey asked.

"It's seven not right" Birdie muttered.

"What's the difference?! For heaven sake your major concern now should be how to return to school not following a man around!" Hailey snapped .

"I'm not following him around,I just couldn't ignore...."

"Then learn how to ignore sometimes,you really think he will ever fall in love with you and date you? He probably see you as a child,if you keep acting this way,he might use you and dump you for someone more mature and up to his status,stop dreaming and focus on yourself" Hailey said and walked out of the room.

Birdie bite her lips and sat down on the bed.

"Does she have to sound so harsh? I only helped" Birdie muttered and fell on her back on the bed.

"It's not like I control my heart,I would have done that if I can." She sighed.

MONDAY★CHICKEN RESTAURANT**

"Hey Birdie" One of the waitresses came to call Birdie as she left the restroom.

"Huh?"

"Someone is here for you" she sounded so excited that Birdie became curious.

"Who?" She asked.

"I think he came from NH,He's so handsome"

'Adam' Birdie said inwardly and went out.

Getting to the room,she was right. Adam was sitting down,he waved at her the moment he saw her. Birdie smiled and walked over to meet him.

"Hey" Adam smiled.

"Why calling for me when you can just order what you want?" Birdie asked.

"Why should I do that when I came here because of you?" Adam asked and Birdie chuckled.

She sat down opposite him.

"You look tired" She said.

"You too,and I think mine is better,at least I'm not going for delivery" Adam said.

"Hey" Birdie glared jokingly and Adam laughed.

"Just kidding" He said.

"Do you want chicken?" Birdie asked.

"You want to give me for free?" Adam asked.

"Don't be such a stingy guy" Birdie groaned.

"Hey,so you can't buy for me? Fine I will pay on my own if you eat with me" Adam said.

"What if my boss appear all of a sudden?" Birdie asked.

"So you're saying your boss doesn't eat and he doesn't want his workers to eat either?" Adam asked and Birdie chuckled.

"I will be back" She said and Adam nodded,his eyes followed her as she walked away,he saw the other waitresses staring at him and he immediately looked away,about their eyes.

'Why are they staring?' Adam scoffed,pressing his phone.

NH PREMIER**

Noah jolted his head as soon as the door to his office opened,to see the so called guest looking for him. At first when he saw Reagan,he didn't recognize her,until she entered fully and smiled.

"Hi Noah,or Mr Chris" She said,still having the flirty smile on her face.

"You may sit" Noah said.

"Thank you" Reagan said and immediately sat down.

"How may I help you? Miss....."

"Just call me Reagan" Reagan immediately said.

"How may I help you?" Noah asked calmly.

"I've been waiting for this moment like forever Noah,I'm a biggest fan and I want to be a friend" Reagan said.

"You mean you're here for tell me this?" Noah asked.

"I think it worth it" Reagan muttered.

"No,you're acting dumb,this is my office,meaning...business only. Who the héll come here to perform such stupidity?" Noah asked looking so pi**ed.

"I don't really care if you're angry with me okay? I like you...."

"You should go now" Noah muttered and Reagan sighed.

"Are you seriously chasing me away?" She asked.

"No,but I have a lot of things to do with my precious time as you can see Miss Reagan" Noah said,using his glasses.

'F**k,he look even more hotter in that' Reagan thought and bit her lips while staring at him,she was becoming wet just by that.

She just want to eat him up,she want to know how it feels like with him inside her.

Noah looked up again and found her still sitting,

"Aren't you leaving?" He asked.

"I guess you're really busy" She muttered and stood up.

Noah rolled his eyes and didn't spare her another glance as she went out.

Reagan looked down at her opened cleavages,she's still confused how he didn't even stare at her talk more of her exposed b***s.

"Is he an alien or something? Does he have feelings at all?" She scoffed.

'I'm going to get him no matter what' she said inwardly and walked away.

She saw Vivian on her way and they both exchange hateful glares as usual.

8PM**

Birdie held the nylon in her hand tightly,a box of fried chicken with strawberry milk inside,It was ordered by Noah himself,unusually.

As she approached Noah's office,Vivian appeared right before her.

"What are you doing Here?" She asked.

"To deliver this" Birdie raised what's in her hand.

"You can go,I will take it to him" Vivian said but Birdie shook her head,making Vivian frown.

"I will do it myself" Birdie said and Vivian scoffed.

"Are you really talking back now?" She asked.

"No,it's my job to deliver to whoever order from us,I don't understand why you're stopping me from doing my job" Birdie said and Vivian moved closer ready to smack her face but.....

"Why are you Standing here with my food?" Noah's voice came from the back and Vivian turned to see Noah standing,his two hands inside his pocket.

"Bring it" Noah muttered and left again,Birdie immediately followed. She entered his office and met him standing.

"Good evening" She muttered with a bow before dropping the chicken on his table.

Noah sat down

"Won't you open it? I paid for it anyway" He said and Birdie smiled.

"I thought you were going to tell me to leave" She said and Noah scoffed.

Birdie opened the chicken box and Noah took one. He bite from it and Birdie bit her lips.

Noah frowned and looked at her.

"Am I the one eating or you?" He asked and Birdie frowned.

"I'm not taking it from you,I just....."

"You bit your lips" Noah complained and Birdie sighed.

"I won't do it again" She mumbled and Noah scoffed.

He continue eating and tapped the drink.

"What" Birdie asked.

"Open for me of course" Noah said.

"Me?"

"Who else?" Noah asked.

Birdie sighed.

"Stop making that face,I paid for this" Noah said.

"You paid for the chicken and drink...."

"And the delivery fee too,it's just five minutes from your restaurant to this place,you can give me back my money if you can't open it for me" Noah snapped.

"You're like a poor billionaire at this moment" Birdie said.

"Huh? What?? Poor billionaire?" Noah asked in shock.

"Of course,you're using me just because you paid for the delivery? Should I give you money?" Birdie asked.

"Yes give me money since you said I am poor" Noah said.

"Of course I will give you money,I still have the change from the hundred dollars you gave me" Birdie said and Noah stopped chewing.

"What" Birdie asked.

"Are you seriously keeping the change?" He asked.

"I told you......"

"She's dumb for real" Noah mumbled and dropped the chicken bone.

"I'm dumb because I didn't spend the money?" Birdie asked.

"Of course you're dumb,every other girls I know will do something better with the money...."

"You said it's for transport,what else am I going to do with it......."

"Buy yourself something cute of course,why would you reject money?"

"Something cute like what?"

"Pretty dresses and shoes dummy,gosh what is this?" Noah groaned and stood up.

"You can have the others,I lost my appetite" He said.

"You ate just one out of five" Birdie said.

"You can eat it,you look hungry......."

"Hey...."

"Hey? Me?" Noah looked at him.

"Yes you,who said I look hungry? I'm naturally slim,what are you saying?" Birdie asked.

"Look at the way you're talking kid,do you know my age? You're young enough to be my sister......"

"But sorry I'm not your sister so deal with it" Birdie scoffed.

"Whoa,just because I promised I won't be mean and harsh anymore doesn't mean I can't break my promise anytime" Noah said.

"I don't care!" Birdie snapped.

"Then you can go" Noah said and Birdie immediately looked at him with a cute puppy face.

"I didn't mean that" She pouted and Noah bit his lips,trying not to laugh.

He took his car key and briefcase

"You're going home?" Birdie asked.

Noah said nothing and went out of the office,Birdie ran after him.

"Anaconda wait" She called.

"Don't call me that name In public place spy kid" Noah said without looking back.

They finally got outside the company only to find someone waiting,they both stopped.

Waylon turned and Birdie gasped.

"Waylon" She called and he smiled at her.

"I went to the restaurant and I was told you're here" Waylon said and Birdie nodded,she moved closer to him.

"Do you want me to do anything for you?" She asked.

"No,I want to take you home" Waylon said and Birdie smiled.

"Thank you" She said excited.

"Hey Spy Kid" Noah called as he walked toward his car and Birdie turned.

"Get in,I'm taking you home" Noah said and Waylon looked at him

"Huh?" Birdie asked in surprise.

"What are you waiting for?" Noah asked again and Birdie looked at Waylon.

"I'm sorry but I think I should..."

"No,I asked first,you're coming with me not him" Waylon said and Noah scoffed.

"Hey,follow me" He said and Birdie tried moving but Waylon grabbed her hand and pulled her back to his side.

Noah frowned and looked at him,Waylon glared at him in return.

Birdie swallowed hard in total confusion.

'What the héll is going on?' She thought.

Noah dropped the package on the dinning table,Axel's call came on his phone and he hesitated before he picked up.

"You didn't yell at her right?" Axel asked.

"What are you talking about?" Noah asked.

"You did....gosh why are you so hard to deal with? She didn't come on her own,I had to convince her so badly,like she's even scared to deliver to you.... "

"I didn't ask you to do it Axel,stop sounding like I did" Noah scoffed.

"You can't continue living this way,just allow people in your life for once" Axel groaned.

"What happens next? No one can stay with anyone forever,it's just lies,stop dreaming" Noah muttered.

"So you think I'm going to leave you one day? Meaning you don't even trust your best friend?" Axel asked.

"No I mean....." Axel hung up before he could finish.

Noah dropped his phone and sighed out.

He sat down and opened the meals one after the other,he took the fork and had a little taste of the chicken first,he chewed slowly.

"Hmm" He nods slightly and dropped the fork,he took a spoon and had a taste of the hot beef stew.

"Whoa" He muttered,he had a taste of everything and then began eating since he was satisfied with the taste.

Birdie just left the island,the walk from Noah's main building to the gate took a whole while,and plus the fact that she was walking so slow added to it.

She got to the street and continue walking while thinking about Noah's outburst.

"Does he have anger issue?" She asked herself and took her lips in.

She was supposed to be mad and angry but instead she was worried about him,she wouldn't stop wondering why he hate the presence of people in his house,is he a loner? Does he live in that big house all alone??

If his friend could order him food,then that means he doesn't have maids either.

"Is he allergic to....no,I've never heard of that type of allergy" She shook her head and groaned.

The car horn beside her made her turn,Waylon smiled at her and Birdie's eyes widened.

"Waylon" She called.

"Going back to work?" Waylon asked and she nodded.

"Come in" Waylon smiled and immediately opened the front door for her.

Birdie entered and closed it back.

"Thank you" She mumbled when Waylon started driving.

"Why are you here?" Waylon asked.

"I came for delivery" Birdie replied.

"Oh" Waylon mouthed.

"I didn't know you work on weekends also" He added and Birdie smiled.

"I have to work to make money" She muttered.

"You shouldn't stress yourself too much tho,you're still young" Waylon said.

"I have no choice anyway" Birdie said and looked outside the window,the breeze scattered her hair.

"Oooh" She whined and quickly packed her hair into a ponytail.

"You look pretty" Waylon said and she faced him.

"Huh?"

"You look prettier in ponytail" He pointed at her hair and she smiled.

"Thank you" She uttered.

LIVE MORE HOSPITAL**

"Thank you so much nurse Hailey,you're amazing" The old woman said as Hailey walked her out of the hospital.

"You're welcome granny,please don't hesitate to call me anytime you feel weak,I will come over and check you up" Hailey said and the woman nodded with a smile.

"Taxi!" Hailey stopped a taxi for her.

"Bye nurse"

"Bye Granny" Hailey also waved back,watching the taxi till it was out of sight.

She turned to go back in but her eyes fell on Waylon's car that just stopped in front of the restaurant,Birdie came out of it and waved at him before he drove off.

"Seriously?" Hailey muttered and waved her hand at Birdie.

"Hailey!" Birdie ran to her.

"Where are you coming from little miss?" Hailey asked,arranging her hair properly.

"Delivery" Birdie smiled.

"Really? So how come Waylon dropped you?" Hailey asked,pressing her cheek.

"He found me walking...."

"Is your boss crazy? He should find scooters or bikers to help him deliver,why you? You have to take taxi to go deliver? This restaurant is not even that standard like I imagined" Hailey scoffed.

Birdie chuckled.

"Are you smiling? You know it's dangerous" Hailey said.

"I should tell him to buy me bike then......"

"Never,I can't allow you ride bike on that lousy and crowded highway" Hailey snapped and Birdie pouted.

"Why's your eyes red? Did you cry?" Hailey asked suddenly.

"No" Birdie immediately shook her head.

"You went to Noah's place?" Hailey frowned.

"I will see you later Hailey" Birdie grinned sarcastically and ran off.

Hailey shook her head and also went in.

A SALON**

Vivian stepped down from the car stylishly,she removed her sunglasses and put it inside her bag,she proceeded and walked toward the entrance,the security immediately opened the door for her and she went inside.

👥 Miss Vivian!

The workers there greeted and she responded to all while she went straight into the hair stylist room. A lady was there getting her hair done.

The stylist turned and immediately smiled the moment she saw Vivian..

"You came"

"Yeah,I need something done to my hair" Vivian muttered and sat down.

Reagan looked into the mirror hearing the voice and she frowned the moment she saw Vivian.

"What is that bîtch doing here?" She asked.

Vivian looked at her and scoffed.

"See a bîtch calling another one bîtch"

Reagan slapped the stylist's hand from her hair and turned her seat around.

"Let her leave the room while I get my hair done,I can't stand being with her in the same enclosed space" Reagan said and Vivian chuckled.

"Why don't you just leave instead? I'm in a hurry anyway" She said.

"Why? You came to make your hair before you go and seduce Noah?" Reagan asked and Vivian glared at her.

The hair stylist couldn't say a word,she was totally confused.

"What,are you surprised that I caught you?" Reagan smirked.

"You're going crazy,you must be one of those shameless girls obsessed with him" Vivian shook her head.

"Well I think I have more chance to be with him more than you" Reagan said.

"How? I can't get over the way he ignored you that night" Vivian said and Reagan scoffed angrily.

"Throw her out of this place or you will loose me forever!!" She yelled at the stylist.

"If I leave this room.....consider me gone for ever" Vivian glared at the stylist and she swallowed.

Both are are biggest customers and she can't possibly do what they are saying.

"Ma'am,I can just drop the curtains for now,I will finish up your hair and start hers......"

"Do that!" Reagan snapped and Vivian scoffed.

The stylist pleaded with Vivian before dropping the curtains to separate the room.

"Nice" Reagan rolled her eyes.

*****

SANTIAGO'S HOUSE**

"What are you talking about? No money?! Arya school resumes next week!! We can't allow her stay home!!" Jenny yelled at her husband.

"What am I supposed to do then? I've tried so much and you know that" Santiago replied and sat down.

"What about Noah? You told me you were going to him but you never returned any news to me" Jenny said.

"He wouldn't help.....he threw me out of his house" Santiago mumbled.

"I knew he was useless right from the moment you brought him into this house,so he forgot all we've done for him?! Or is he jealous that my daughter is going to college?" Jenny whined.

"He said he doesn't have a sister" Santiago muttered.

"That orphan" Jenny scoffed.

Arya who was eavesdropping on the staircase turned back slowly and went to her room. She sat down on the bed sadly and picked up her phone,she searched Noah on her phone and everything popped up.

"He must.....really hate me alot" She muttered,caressing his face from the screen.

Even though she was still young back then,she could still remember a little bit of what happened when he was still with them.

"I will feel guilty if he decide to help....." She bite her lips and tears dropped from her eyes,she dropped her phone and fell on the bed.

NIGHT★NOAH'S ISLAND**

It was rainy so heavily,even though the windows were closed and the curtains were down,he couldn't control the pains at all. He felt weak with each drop of the rain,he was sweating profusely and his body was shaking at the same time with cold and fear.

The flashback of what happened the night of the accident would come once in every minute giving him crazy headaches. It was as if he would die.

Noah fell on the floor when he checked his pills and found out that the bottle of empty,it must have finished without him knowing.

His head hit the wall as hot tears rolled down his eyes,He's always like a kid when it comes to his phobia. He wanted to hold it in and try to ignore the pains but the rain doesn't seem to be reducing at all.

He took his phone and dialed Axel's number on that same spot,he answered at the fourth ring.

"What" Axel mumbled.

Noah said nothing,he bite his lips as if he was too weak to talk.

"Hey,are you going to talk or what" Axel asked.

"It's....raining" Noah muttered.

"Hey,are you okay?! Have you taken your pills?" Axel immediately asked in a worried voice.

"No more" Noah muttered.

"Are you crazy? Shouldn't you tell the Doctor to give you in excess?!" Axel shouted.

"Hey,I'm not even close right now,what about Vivian?"

"No,I don't want to. I will be fine" Noah muttered.

"You're not fine,drop the act. You wouldn't call me if you're fine,your pride is too high than that,,hold it for a while,okay?!" Axel hung up and Noah held his head as the headache hit him again.

BIRDIE'S APARTMENT**

Birdie was smiling widely while staring at the rain hitting the window of her room,it was such a cold night but she enjoyed every bit of it.

Her phone started ringing on the bed and she left the window to go check. It's an unknown number but also at the same time looks familiar. She answered the call and said nothing first.

"Birdie"

"Oh......Uncle Axel" She muttered.

"I need your help....Right now" Axel said.

"Help? How?" Birdie asked.

"Huh?! He's in danger?!" Her eyes widened after Axel finished explaining things to her.

"It might get worse if he doesn't take the pills or the rain doesn't stop" Axel replied.

"What should I do? I will do anything" Birdie immediately said.

"We have to get the pill no matter what" Axel replied.

"It's.....quite late" Birdie said,checking the time.

"But I'm going to try" She added.

"And hospital will do,the pill might be rare to get at a pharmacy or something,can you do that?" Axel asked.

"Yes I will"

"Thank you so much,send your account details,it's kinda expensive" Axel said.

Birdie immediately put on her shoes,she wore a hoodie and took an umbrella before running out of her room,she got to the living room and started walking slowly,she sneaked out making sure Winona doesn't catch her then she ran out of the house.

10PM**

Birdie groaned out when she entered the house,she dropped her umbrella and ran upstairs with the pill in her hand,she was so tired already. She got upstairs and ran straight to the last room as Axel had described for her.

She opened the door and entered,she passed the living room,she went more deeper and found the bedroom,Noah was still sitting on the floor in the same position,Birdie's eye grew wide the moment she saw him,she ran to him immediately and fell in front of him.

It was the same as she saw him that night,he was sweating so much,Birdie touched his cheeks and it was so cold,his eyes were closed.

"Anaconda" She called and Noah opened his eyes,even in his state,he made a surprised face seeing her.

"I brought your pill" Birdie raised it up for him.

She stood up and looked around,she saw a bottle of water on a stool and she immediately went to pick it up,she ran back to Noah and took two pills from it bottle.

"Here" She said putting it in his mouth and then water,Noah only stared at her after he digested the pill.

Birdie stood up again and found her way somehow into the restroom,she took a face towel and soaked it with water,she came back and wiped off his sweats.

"You will be fine" She muttered.

Noah held her hand and she stopped.

"That's enough" He sighed and Birdie dropped the towel.

"I will help you get on the bed" She mumbled softly and Noah allowed her,she helped him up and to the bed,Noah lie down gently,his eyes still on her.

It was so silent,except the sound of the heavy rain falling outside.

"I.....should go back home" Birdie said and made to take a step.

Noah grabbed her hand and she turned back.

"You should finish your work" he said.

"Huh?"

"I'm cold" Noah muttered and pulled her closer,she fell on the bed beside him and a gasp escape her lips,she moved her face to Noah's own.

"Don't leave.......you can leave in the morning" He said.

Birdie swallowed.

"You will yell at me again" She mumbled,avoiding his eyes.

"You're going to yell at me in the morning....again" She said once more.

"I won't" Noah said.

"Promise?" Birdie asked.

"I won't" Noah repeated and she lay down gently beside him.

"I told you I'm cold" Noah muttered with his eyes still closed.

He pulled the duvet over their heads and Birdie's heart stopped beating for a second.

Waylon and Birdie left and Noah also made way to go back inside the party hall but he was blocked by Reagan who was standing in front of him with a flirty smile on her face.

Noah said nothing and raised his brows.

"Hi,you might not know me. My name is Reagan" She introduced herself,grinning.

Noah gave her a simple nod and tried walking away again but still she covered his path.

"That's not really nice," she said and Noah sighed.

"Nice meeting you Reagan" He said with a forceful smile.

"I've always wanted to meet you Noah,I've always wanted to. Can we be friends? I would love to" Reagan said.

"Friends?" Noah asked and she nodded quickly.

"Please huh?" She held his hand with a soft look on her face.

'Does she think that face get me or something?' Noah scoffed inwardly and gently removed her grip from his hand.

Vivian showed up that very time and seeing Reagan with Noah made her frown.

Subsequently,she walked closer to them almost pushing Reagan away,she faced Noah.

"I've been waiting,are you done calling?" She asked and Noah nodded before going inside leaving the two ladies alone.

Vivian faced Reagan who was already glaring at her also.

"What was that?" Reagan asked.

"I simply came out for my boss,what about you?" Vivian asked.

Reagan scoffed and crossed her arms,glaring at Vivian.

"Who are you to tell your boss who to talk to? Or do you perhaps like him somehow? But I'm very sure he's not interested in you,so next time stay off my business! Do you get that?! Bitch" Reagan said and walked away angrily.

"You're back" Axel smiled when Noah sat down beside him.

Noah poured himself the wine a little and sipped from it.

"I'm surprised you came anyway,it's not your thing attending parties" Axel said,staring at the couples who were called up on the stage.

"Miles......is quite different" Noah muttered and Axel nodded.

"I saw your so called kid earlier,she's pretty" Axel grinned,referring to Birdie.

"Every girl is pretty to you" Noah scoffed.

"Seriously? But I'm saying the truth,she doesn't look like a kid when she dress up" Axel smiled.

"Am I supposed to care about that? Stop it dude,if I'm going to become interested in a relationship,it will be a lady not a girl" Noah said and Axel nodded.

"I understand" he muttered

Vivian joined them after a while.

OUTSIDE**

"Bowie?" Waylon read out the name Birdie just wrote down.

"What,you don't like it?" She raised her head.

"No,it sounds so cool,really cool" Waylon replied and Birdie smiled.

"Great,so Bowie is his name,congratulations" Birdie said and Waylon laughed.

"Sounds like a naming oath" he said.

"Of course it is,everything deserves a name or two" Birdie said and Waylon nodded.

"Thank you cute one" he said.

"You're welcome"

"We should go back inside,it's my fault we are out" Waylon said,they both got down from the car and he once again held her hand.

Birdie looked down at their hands and bite her lips,her mind went to Noah from earlier and she sighed out.

She shouldn't have ignored him like that,but then he doesn't want to see her anyway,right?.

"Are you okay?" Waylon looked down at her,she immediately shook her head.

"I'm okay" She smiled shortly.

They entered the hall and Birdie waved at Waylon before going Back to her seat.

"Where did you go to? I've been waiting" Hailey said.

"I'm sorry,I met Waylon on my way back" Birdie replied and Hailey's eyes widened.

"Waylon? You two talk?" She asked and Birdie nodded.

"Whoa,you're in another level than I imagined,it was Noah and now Waylon?" Hailey scoffed

Birdie smiled and looked at the meals on the table.

"Why are you not eating?" She asked.

"How can I eat alone when I came here with you?"

"Sorry for keeping you waiting" Birdie muttered and they started eating,her eyes moved to Noah's table,he wasn't eating,he was on his phone instead.

"Doesn't he eat out or what?" She thought.

Just a minute later,Noah stood up,Axel and Vivian also did,they walked out of the hall together,Birdie's eyes followed him,she turned back and caught Hailey staring at her.

"You scared me" She said.

"You still talk to Noah?" Hailey asked.

"I.....I don't know" Birdie mumbled.

'I see" Hailey nodded.

Birdie drank water and sighed out.

SATURDAY★NOAH'S ISLAND**

Noah was in the gym,sitting down on the chest fly machine,he was working out and sweating profusely,his airpod were in his ears as he listened to music while working out.

He would breathe in and out as he pulled the handle of the machine to the front and then back again,his muscles clapping along with his veins.

He suddenly got a call,he released the handle and answered through his airpod.

"Boss" Vivian called from the other side and Noah sighed out,he already thought it was another business,he wasn't planning to leave home today.

"Vivian" Noah said and stood up,he walked toward the treadmill and started pressing the necessary buttons.

"I'm coming over......you should eat something today,I can cook for you............"

"Never mind" Noah muttered,now walking on the treadmill slowly.

"Why? Are you going to order food or something?" Vivian asked.

"I'm not planning to do that" Noah replied,increasing the speed of the machine.

"Then just get a maid at least,you can't keep on like this" Vivian said.

"I'm not interested in having anyone around...."

"Noah!" Vivian shouted.

"Are you shouting at me now?"

"We are not working right now okay?! Do you want to die or something?! How can you live without eating? Are you a vampire? Do you suck blood for a living?!" Vivian Snapped.

Noah ignored her,running speedily as the treadmill race became faster.

"Are you ignoring me?" Vivian asked.

"Worry about yourself Vivian,you know I don't like....."

"You always don't like,when will you like? But i'm standing on my word,you should get a maid,it's not necessary she live there,she can....."

"Bye" Noah cut her off and hung up immediately.

"So lousy" he scoffed and pressed a button,the treadmill became slow again.

He removed his phone from his pocket and he opened the mail he missed. It's from Santiago,Noah immediately frowned.

"Where the f**k did he get my number?" He asked,folding his shaking fist as he became angry.

He turned off the machine and walked out of the gym.

He walked straight to the kitchen,it's large and unused,he walked to the fridge and brought out a bottle of water,he uncapped it and gulped everything down at once.

He exhaled loudly and looked around.

"Ahh ahh" He said and it echoed back to him.

"Nice" He muttered with a smirk.

Noah dropped the bottle inside the trash can and walked out of the kitchen.

CHICKEN RESTAURANT**

"Birdie! We've got a delivery to do"

"I'm coming!" Birdie replied,she was serving customers,after she was done,she ran over to where the packs are.

"Five pack of chicken ordered"

"Where?" Birdie asked.

"NH,don't take too long,there's another one"

"Alright" Birdie smiled and immediately ran out of the restaurant.

In no time,she got to the company and entered.

"But....who ordered chicken?" Birdie asked no one in particular as she got on the elevator.

"Eaglet" Adam's voice came from the back and Birdie turned instantly.

"Panda!" She called,waving.

Adam ran and joined her inside the elevator before the door closed.

"You're faster than I thought" Adam smiled.

"Huh? It's for you?" Birdie asked.

"Of course,I'm the only one in the office,I'm hungry and bored" Adam replied.

"So you ordered because you are bored?" Birdie scoffed.

"Hey,not even a single sorry?" Adam pushed her head.

"Hey!" Birdie yelled back and Adam touched his chest.

"Oh I'm scared" He said sarcastically and Birdie chuckled.

"Are you mocking me right now?"

"Of course not" Adam laughed.

The elevator door opened and they stepped out,Birdie followed Adam into the office and it was empty.

"Why are you the only one here?" She asked.

"We have something to cover up,I can't just leave,I have to monitor how our orders and delivery are made,It's not only me though,there are others in different offices too,but I volunteered to stay for my team" Adam said,sitting down.

"You're the youngest here" Birdie said.

"How did you know that?" Adam asked,opening the chicken box. "Wow! Looks yummy" he said and took one of the crispy chicken.

"It's obvious in your face,how old are you?" She asked.

"Nineteen,what about you?" Adam asked,chewing in his mouth.

"Whoa! I'm also nineteen" Birdie said excitedly and Adam smiled.

"Are you that happy?" He asked and Birdie nodded.

"Eat with me then" Adam said.

Birdie took one of the chicken and started biting and chewing also.

"You're nineteen,shouldn't you be in school?" Adam asked.

"My grandma is poor,what about you?" Birdie asked.

"When I save up enough,I will definitely do that" Adam muttered.

"Why? What about your parents?" Birdie asked.

"I don't know" Adam smiled.

Birdie wanted to ask more but she decided to keep quiet.

After finishing one chicken,she stood up.

"I need to go" She said and Adam nodded.

"Get ready to come here everyday....not Sunday tho" Adam said and Birdie smiled.

"Bye" She said and ran out of the office.

"Must she run?!!" Adam groaned loudly.

NIGHT★NOAH'S ISLAND**

Noah was sitting in the living room,He's been going from one room to another in the house since morning and finally he settled here,his legs crossed as he watched the TV.

📺I can't live without you.

The male lead in the movie said to his girlfriend,they were both in tears,they almost got separated but now back together.

"Is he crazy? Why can't he live without her? You call that love?" Noah hissed and switched off the TV.

"I love my parents so much and would have said that,but I've been living without them for years,what the f**k is a lady? He's bursting out rubbish for real" Noah scoffed.

He suddenly heard the door bell and he turned his face,he wanted to ignore but it came again,he stood up and walked to the door camera. He saw Birdie there and he frowned.

"What is she doing here? How did she know this place?"

He opened the door anyway.

Birdie was surprised to see him.

"Oh....it's you" She muttered.

"Me??" Noah raised his brows.

"Here's your order" She smiled,saying the nylon pack in her hand.

"What's that?" Noah asked.

"Huh?.....Someone ordered me to bring food here" Birdie said.

"A mistake" Noah muttered,trying to close the door.

"I'm very sure it's here" Birdie said loudly.

Just then,Noah's phone rang and he checked,it's Axel calling. He answered at once.

"I ordered the food,eat or you die" Axel snapped at him on the phone and hung up before Noah could talk.

Noah sighed and looked at Birdie.

"Bring it,you can go" He mumbled.

"He asked me to help you dish it out nicely,he paid me for that" Birdie said.

"Never mind,I will do it myself" Noah said and tried collecting it from her.

"But I was paid......."

"Give me and get the f**k out?!!!" Noah yelled angrily and Birdie flinched,looking at him in shock as he breathe heavily while glaring at her.

"Don't you get it? I hate people's presence in my house,especially strangers,so stop being stupid" He took the food from her and closed the door loudly on her face.

Birdie swallowed hard still getting herself back from the shock.

"Why......why is he.....so harsh?" She muttered with shaking lips and tears came rolling down her eyes.
