*ARE YOU A FOOL?*

There are three individuals who could give you answer to the above question: You, others around you, and God.
You or people around may call you a fool or fool you based on their limited human perception, but until God calls you a fool, you are not one and vice versa.

You can answer if you are a fool or not after considering the following God's definition of a fool:

A fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable work, there is none that doeth good. *Proverbs 14:1 ; 53:1*

O, LORD, the foolish people have blasphemed thy name - *Psalm 74:18*

The foolish man reproacheth thee (God) daily. *Psalm 74:22*

Fools despise wisdom and instruction . *Proverbs 1:7*

Fools hate knowledge. *Proverbs 1:22*
A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple (cheap) and knoweth nothing. *Proverbs 9:13*

He that uttereth a slander is a fool . *Proverbs 10:18*

The heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness. *Proverbs 12:16*

Every wise woman builds her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands. **Proverbs 14:1*

*Are you a fool?*
Fools make a mock at sin. *Proverbs 14:9*

The fool rageth, and is confident. *Proverbs 14:16*

He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly. *Proverbs 14:17*

A fool despiseth his father's instruction. *Proverbs 15:5*

It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but fools will be meddling. *Proverbs 20:3*

They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them. *Mathew 25:3*

*In Luke 12:17 - 21* , Jesus also described the rich fool who said , I will pull down my barn and build greater....I will say to my soul, thou hast much goods, take, eat, drink and be Merry... But God said unto him, thou fool, this day thy soul shall be required of of thee...so is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and not rich toward God.
And everyone that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man which built his house upon the sand. *Mathew 7:26*
I wish to ask you again this 1st April, are you a fool?

TODAY'S LESSON: *"whatsoever He Says To You, Do It" !*
TEXT: *John 2:1-11*

"And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto them, they have no wine...His mother saith unto the servants, whatsoever He saith unto you, do it."

Unarguably, obedience to God's instructions is a platform for divine lifting. Adherence to divine instructions is a gateway to advancement in life. If you be willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land.

The very first miracle of Christ was triggered by obedience to a simple "foolish" instruction. Someone will ask, 'what has water gotten to do with wine."?
They said they don't have wine again and He is instructing the servants to fill water pots with water.

The problem is, we often want figure out God. We want to reason out with our small head and limited human capacity the instructions of God before we obey.
Bishop Oyedepo said, "If the Word can't fool you, it can't feed you."

He said to Abraham offer your son, without consultation and questions Abraham moved to obey him.

Note, it was the servants who were serving at the marriage feast that received the instructions. It was the servants that filled the water pots, it was the servants drew out wine and gave to the governor of the feast. Jesus didn't participate in that process, He only gave instructions.

This implies that the miracle of turning water into wine took place in the hands of the servants, the same way five loaves of bread and two fishes multiplied in the hands of the disciples.

Hear this, God speaks to only His servants, not people on positions. Miracles are performed through servants not through title holders.
God uses those who are ready to serve.

However, servants must receive instructions and obey instructions. God depends on the obedience of His servants to turn our bitter world into a sweet world.

Are you in bitterness of marriage or sickness, relationship or business? First, you must surrender to serve God.
Second, you must receive and obey divine instructions. God relies on you to make a change. God relies on you to deliver the world.

Job 36:11 confirms, "If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasure."

*Prayer Focus:* Oh! God my Father, in the name of Jesus, bestow upon me the spirit of obedience and service. I refuse to disappoint your dependency upon me in Jesus name.
