A very big thank you to the All Progressive Congress (APC) for granting Chief David Lyon and his Deputy, Bishop Degi the platform to represent her in the forthcoming elections as well as the opportunity to serve Bayelsans. A big thank you also goes to members of the All Progressive Congress for their show of love and solidarity in the just concluded primaries.

We are deeply honoured by the level of trust and confidence reposed on them by the good people of Bayelsa, and we are immensely grateful.

We want to assure the good people of Bayelsa that Chief David Lyon and his Deputy Bishop Degi will do everything possible not to betray the trust reposed on them and promises to make fairness, transparency and honesty their watchwords in service to Bayelsans.

We are also indebted in gratitude to the various individuals who in more than one way contributed to making this victory a reality.

As we approach the big day, we are appealing to Bayelsans not to relent nor relax until complete victory is achieved.

We are assuring Bayelsans that Chief David Lyon and his able deputy would neither sleep nor rest until Bayelsa is great again.

Getting Bayelsa working again is our collective responsibility, let us join hands and work together for a glorious and more prosperous Bayelsa.
