CHAPTER ONE

it all started like a dream, yeah, with this Nigeria girl, named Simisola aka Simi.

"Pregnant?" His words echoed in her ears
"Yes, pregnant!" She said firmly
How did this happen, well, her college bestie, Kyung asked her for a date in order to break up with a girl.
Yeah! She agreed but then Kyung got drunk and slept with her.
She looked at him and sighed, he was handsome and the dream of many girls who wished for an oppa.
He looked like a celebrity but was not, he was the CEO of a multi-billionaire company.
She could have just jumped onto him and tell him they could be together but she had no feelings for him and beside she had a Chinese fiancée, Zhao.
He might not be as handsome as Kyung but he was wealthy and the CEO of a multi-billionaire company as well.
Though Zhao came from a ruthless family who would not take nonsense. Still, she loved him.
It was few days to their wedding, Zhao was in Singapore doing some deals that might end soon.
They chatted every night and this... no... she couldn't tell him about this whole mistake or else his heart will crumble.
He had recovered from a heartbreak when they met, it was so severe that he almost committed su***de.
She had revived him, he fell for her, dated her despite his family disapproval.
She even made a deal with his family that if she broke Zhao's heart or ruin their family reputation with any abominable act, she and her Nigerian family will pay dearly.
She did sign that deal out of love.
Zhao trusted her even with his life, he was there for her, he fought for her and loved her for who she was despite her color.
Breaking his heart would bring disaster, she needed to do something about this pregnancy.
"So... what do you intend to do with the pregnancy?" Kyung's voice awoke her from her thoughts.
"I will have an abortion."
"That is fine with me." Kyung sighed
"You have no objection?" Simi asked him
"Yes, you have made your decision and it's final." Kyung replied
"Then, it's fine with me." Simi smiled

Kyung receives a call from his doctor as he drives back home.
"What's the result?" Kyung asks as soon as he picks his call.
"Boss... you.... can never have a child in this life."
"What did you say?" Kyung asked, he stopped his car as he thought he heard wrong.
"Your s***m is paralyzed."
"You said what?" Was he hearing double or what
"The result showed you won't... be able get any woman pregnant."
"What? Then how do I get an heir?" Kyung fell back on his seat.
"If you slept with a woman three months ago and got her pregnant, that would have been your last chance in being a father."
"Slept with..." Kyung paused, he remembered Simi. An abortion, last chance to be a dad.
He cuts the call, and drives as fast as he could.

Meanwhile, Simi gets to the entrance of the hospital and was about to enter when someone grabs her arm.
She looks at him and gets shocked.
"What are you doing here?" Simi asked
"You can't abort this pregnancy." Kyung replied
"Why?"
"This child is the only child I will ever have in this life." Kyung replied
"What do you mean?"
"I can't get another woman pregnant for life." Kyung replied
"You say?"
"I need an heir or else I would lose my company to my greedy uncle, Simi, please don't abort this baby. Please." He almost cried
"But... but?" Simi exclaimed in confusion
Just then, her phone sings its usual tone when she receives a message. She opens it and sees Zhao message, "My love, I am at the front of your apartment, where are you?"
"WHAT?"

Episode Thirteen

Anna couldn’t sleep all night, she decided she was going to end Mr Kim that night or else she will be killed. She knows Betty hates her and would do everything to expose her because of her aim to have Mr Kim to herself. Anna goes to Mr Kim’s room, took his gun and held it firmly. Mr Kim showed up and was shocked that Anna was pointing a gun at him. In tears Anna revealed her identity and her revenge plan. She told him she would kill him before he kills her. Mr Kim looked at her in tears and says, go ahead and shoot me, I have always wanted to kill myself, Kill me. Anna held the gun in her hand firmly with tears in her eyes and pulled the trigger.

Episode Fourteen

Anna burst into tears as she had just shot a man she loved. She rushed towards him and holds onto him. She cried and begs him to forgive her. Mr Kim was rushed to the hospital, Anna hated herself. Luckily, he survived. She decided to run away and never return but she needed to see him before she did such. She showed up before Mr Kim and tells him, I will leave your life and never return. Mr Kim looked at her in tears and tells her, I will kill myself if you leave me, you are the reason I refused to commit su***de. Anna looked at him and asked him why he killed her family, Mr Kim told her, her dad was his best friend, the only one who cared for him. It wasn’t him who killed her family, it was his twin brother.

Episode Fifteen

Anna couldn’t believe her eyes as Mr Kim showed her his picture with his twin. Mr Kim told her that he hated his brother for killing the man who loved him. When he told her at the carnival that he hated the Adams, he actually meant he loved them but his ego did not let him admit it. But he ended up admitting he loved her. He told her, his elder brother, his twin died after confronting his dad about something he has no idea of. His brother had begged him to run away from their dad and live a good life and the only way to be free from his dad is to have an heir. Anna cried onto him and says, I am sorry, I am sorry, forgive me. Meanwhile, Betty stood at the door of the hospital looking at the two in anger.

Episode Sixteen

Anna decided never to leave Mr Kim ever again, she left the ward and gets confronted by Betty who looked at her with the eyes of hatred. Anna told Betty, there was nothing she could do as she has settled things with Mr Kim. The two get into a fight but eventually stop when they suddenly go into labour. They ended up giving birth to boys. Mr Kim was the happiest. He summoned the two surrogates and told them he could only have one wife and that wife will be Anna but he promised to take care of Betty and treat her son with fatherly love. Betty got heartbroken and left the mansion to Mr Kim’s dad mansion. She faced the deadly mafia and says, Anna Adams is still alive, I know where she is. The mafia eyes got bloody and he rages at his men, I want that girl dead.

Episode Seventeen

Anna and Mr Kim celebrates their real marriage, they were very happy as it ended up with smiles. That night, some men came and kidnapped Anna and her son. Mr Kim got alarmed as he discovered it was his dad’s doing. He rushed to his dad place and out of anger, Betty follows him. Anna knelt before the deadly mafia with her baby in her arms. The mafia reveals to her that he had been searching for her. He told her that the worthless son he ordered to eliminate her family failed to kill her. He then asked her, where is the document that your father is hiding. Anna’s eyes widened, it occurred to her that her family was murdered because of some document.

Episode Eighteen

Anna tells the bloody mafia, she had no idea where the documents were. She knew those documents were sacred, her dad told her about it but she had no idea where it was. Just then, Mr Kim showed up with Betty by his side. He falls on his knees and begs his dad to spare his wife and son. This made Betty angry. The bloody man pointed his gun at Anna and her baby refusing to listen to his son. Mr Kim rushed to Anna and pushed her out of the way, the bullets ends up hitting a plank. He held Anna and they ran out of the building. His dad pointed a gun at them from the rooftop angrily. Mr Kim brought his gun and pointed it at his dad, he shouted at his dad, let’s end this now!

Episode Twelve

Anna looked at him and had no idea when she said, I love you too. Immediately, she realizes her mistake, she runs away from his grip. Mr Kim thought she was running away from him because of his dad. He stood up and decided to confront his dad but the moment he got to his dad’s home, he gave up as he remembered how his dad killed his elder brother. Meanwhile, Betty arrived at the mansion and rushed to Anna’s room. She barged in and sees the crying Anna. She laughed at Anna not knowing the reason for her tears. Anna stood up and warned Betty to mind her business. Betty laughed and says, I will ruin your life Anna Adams. Anna looked at Betty in shock, her identity has been discovered.

I am back, no more issue with my account.
I want to start a new one, starting tomorrow.

Episode Eleven

Fear gripped Anna as the bloody man was determined to shoot his son. Anna rose up and told him, Mr Kim was only joking, she lets him know she was a surrogate and they faked their marriage to fool the public and they had to make people believe they were lovers. Her words calmed him and he could only say to his son, you should have told me this plans of yours earlier. Mr Kim looked at Anna and sits down while his dad claims he came to visit. He raged that whoever failed to bring forth an heir will be killed. His words sent shivers into Anna’s spine. She wonder what kind of a dad he was, having the heart to shoot at your own son. After he left, Mr Kim held onto Anna and tells her with tears in his eyes, I am not faking it, I really love, I love you Anna.

Episode Nine

Anna heart kept on beating as Mr Kim confessed his love for her, she couldn’t reply and wondered why her heart was beating so loud. Was she in love, she asked herself but proclaim she was not. How could she fall in love with the same man who killed her whole family, that evil man. She sits on her bed wondering why her heart flutter when Mr Kim told her, he loved her. Meanwhile, Betty had a great talk with Anna’s mistress at the orphanage, it took her two days to get there. The woman bad mouthed Anna, calling her a thief, a witch and made ugly comments about her skin. Betty couldn’t get any information about Anna’s family and decided to leave. As she walked through the corridor, she sees a picture of the kids who were from the orphanage. There she recognise someone and shouts, Anna Adams but the mistress corrects and says, it’s Diana Adams you are calling Anna Adams.

Episode Eight

Anna looked at him for a while, she was confused and wondered why she felt that way. He couldn’t say anything and pleaded that she take him back to the carnival she took him to. Anna still confused granted him his request. He walked through the carnival holding back his tears as he remembered Mr Adams taking him through the carnival with happy smiles. He suddenly breaks down in tears, and mutters, I miss you. Anna did not hear what he muttered but saw his tears. They went back home and stayed in his room in silent. Mr Kim looked at her and told her he used to be a mafia, he revealed that his dad was a mafia, his grand father and the rest. Anna knew it but pretended to be shocked. He tells her, I want to be free from this world of mine and to do that I need an heir, that’s the only way my dad would let me free. Anna wondered why he was telling her all those stuff, he held her hands and says, Anna I love you.

Anna began to bond with Mr Kim and this made Betty jealous and mad. She felt it was unfair since she had always loved him all her life. Anna was more happier to finally win his heart but she had to give him an heir. Out of desperation, the two surrogate visited different places seeking a way out to have an heir. Mr Kim felt pressure as months pass by, he began to act violently shouting that he needed an heir, an heir was all he needed. Anna knew his countenance was changing, she tried her best to calm him whenever he raged violently and it worked. She realized she was the only one who could calm him, this made her happy but this made Betty mad. The next day, Betty headed straight to the so called orphanage Anna grew up in.
