Primary 4 pupils of Obadore Community Nursery & Primary School recently participated in a practical Basic Science lesson focused on geometry and construction.

Under teacher supervision, pupils utilized cardboard, scissors, glue, and rulers to design and create various geometric shapes.

Prior to the official resumption for the 3rd term 2025/2026 session, the Education Secretary, Dr Aminat Olawunmi Ige, held a pre-resumption meeting with all Alimosho LGEA Head teachers (Association of Primary School Head-teachers of Nigeria (AOPHSON) Alimosho branch).

The meeting was put together to ensure that learners and educators have a smooth entry into the new term.

The result of this meeting was visible in the hitch-free resumption activities across schools and centers under Alimosho Local Government Education Authority.

Throwing it back to the 16th of April, 2026, when the School-based Management Committee ( SBMC) Alimosho branch had their annual summit and celebration of their 10th year anniversary.

The event was chaired by our amiable Education Secretary, Dr. Aminat Olawumi Ige. Other notable guests who graced the occasion included the chairman of Mosan-Okunola LCDA, Hon. Adunni Akindele ably represented by Hon. Omooba Akintola Falade ( Vice-chairman, Mosan-Okunola LCDA) who came with goodwill and gifts for the day and traditional leaders within the community were also in attendance to show their support.

It was a memorable event as our pupils came out to show their academic prowess as well as their creativity through cultural displays and drama performance.

The occasion ended with an award presentation to key stakeholders within and outside the school community.

We are happy to announce that in the just concluded Ilera-Eko Essay Competition, pupils from Alimosho showed up and showed out.

With Akingbemisile Oluwatoyin Omolabake of Abesan primary school Ipaja standing tall at the 2nd position and David Mary of Salvation Army primary school 2 Ayobo clinching the 3rd prize, we did not just show that we can win. We proved that one medal isn’t enough!🥈🥉
