It is a 110-bed hospital, which can take up to 120 patients in emergencies. It is now the main referral hospital of the Nigerian Navy. On the 7 April 2021 the accreditation team of the Faculty of Anaesthesia, West African College of Surgeon led by Dr Kolawole visited NNRH Ojo. The aim of the visit was to assess NNRH Ojo's readiness for the training of resident doctors in anaesthesia. NNRH Ojo is poised and committed to achieving this important objective as it will open opportunities for possible accreditation vis-a-vis residency training in other specialties going forward.
