OBI stated:
Today, I was at the World Trade Organization - WTO HQ in Geneva, Switzerland, to discuss and gain some insight about Nigeria's economic recovery (relative to the role of trade and investment), given the dire straits we are in.
I thank Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala most sincerely for her time, frank engagement, useful advice and guidance. I remain committed to building a better Nigeria for the future generations.

My Take On In Frankfurt Last Night
By Baridueh Badon in Frankfurt, Germany
In just 2 days of announcement, over 300 people stormed and filled the hall for the event.
When I heard about it, I quickly checked my work calendar and prioritised my work to make sure
I got there on time.
I thought I made a huge sacrifice by taking a 40 minutes transportation to the venue since I live in a city near Frankfurt.
On getting there, I saw people who drove 4-5 hours from other cities and some from France and the Netherlands.
Some said, they just saw the poster online and came to verify.
We where all seated on time. The room was hot all through (most European rooms don't have AC rather a heater) people just sat, fanning themselves.
We spent 4 good hours with Peter standing all through responding to over 30 questions from the people.
When I asked a young man who didn't know how to navigate Frankfurt because he came from The Netherlands why he had to drive all the way?
He said, "I asked myself what was going to be my own sacrifice to this cause of a new Nigeria and my physical presence was the best sacrifice." He got home 4:00 a.m. today.
waited for 2 extra hours taking personal pictures with everyone. We all lined up waiting patiently.
Was his speech all that powerful? Does he manufacture words or what? The answer is No.
He looked like a Pastor preaching Psalms 23 but this time with basic reality.
We all know Nigeria's problems, he is just able to give practical solutions and say it the way we want to hear, of course with some examples of governance success in Anambra.
Good governance isn't hard.. we just make it difficult in Africa.
People are yearning for change.. they just saw a man who is ready and identitied with him.
is a force bigger than himself.
There are times and seasons, this is the time.
The are like ants, no king, no "leader" we just move according.
With what I saw, once this man asks for campaign money. Diasporans will over donate. I see N1B in 1 week.
The National anthem never felt soo good.. it was like a worship Song.
We in diaspora see things quite differently and are dangerous.. we have seen and tasted good governance.
We have tasted different forms of discrimination because of our place of origin and are hell bent to change thing back home.
You may ask, are we going to vote?
The answer is we will fund the struggle. Endsars was a pilot test!! Na money be election..
We have the money and will influence the polity.
I twitted the event and have over 100k impressions on some of the tweets already. People asked me to go live. everywhere!
A quick question, can other candidates pull such crowd in Germany in just two days?
Will people drive 5 hours to listen to them?
Peter challenged use to do the same for other candidates and see the response.
Can your candidate even stand for 4 hours answering questions? Will 10 people who were not paid to attend leave work to show up?
We even paid an entrance fee of 20 Euro. Na we pay to see our man, others dey pay people to go see their man. We no complain π€£π€£ no be juju be that?
There is a writing on the wall!! Read it well.
This man is a Man of Issachar!! He knows the times and what Nigerians ought to do!!

*OBIDIENTs Tips for the Benue 1 million OBITREK 27th AUGUST 2022: Things to do or take along*
1. Pray before leaving your house for a peaceful and safe rally ππΎ.
2. Take your breakfast and drink plenty water. Avoid high proteinous and salty meals(do not eat heavy)
3.Small snacks you can eat for energy as you walk like gala, chocolate bars, meat pies, biscuits, apples etc.
4. A small BACKPACK or waist bag
5. Bottle Water for hydration.
6. If you are asthmatic, carry your inhaler, if diabetic carry your insulin, if you have high blood pressure carry your drugs. Take your medications before leaving your house. If your blood glucose levels and Blood pressure is uncontrolled we advise you stay at home.
7.A pack of Panadol, paracetamol or other pain relief tabs or other medications that you are taking.
8.Your ID card and a note with your next of kin or important persons to call in case of emergency. Write down any allergies if you have, blood type and phone number of your personal doctor if you have.
9.Please bath or shower, brush your teeth, chew mint gum and use *DEODORANT or BODY SPRAY* before coming out. Body odor and mouth smell can be very offensive. There will be lots of singing, shouting and screaming. Personal hygiene is critical.
10. Hat or sunglasses or fez caps.
11. Handkerchief or face towel and wet wipes.
12. Wear suitable clothes that are not too tight, warm (if it gets hot) or too exposed (if it gets cold). Remember for this event, wear a white T shirt.
13. Comfortable walking shoes (not heels or slippers that can cut easily) .
14. Charge your phone fully before coming and get a power bank. You cannot afford to be offline when others are posting live pictures.
15. Carry some cash or your your debit card. You might need to buy something.
16. For women extra hair bands or rubber bands to tie your hair, wig or braids. Please visit the salon before the rally. Dirty hair + sweat will cause itching & irritation, not to talk about some smelly hair or wig.
17. Preferrably, Nylon (polyethylene) raincoat in case it rains. Umbrella if possible but it might get lost if not used.
18. Flags or banners of your choice to be made before arriving arriving at the Venue.
19. Ladies should carry extra tampons or pads and small pack tissue paper. Carry scarf or small wrapper in case you get stained.
20. Hand sanitizer cos you will touch a lot of people you don't want to get an infection.
21. Face mask, but not compulsory
22.Do not crowd each other. Give at minimum an arm's length gap between you and the person in front of you. This is important as air circulation is very necessary. If you are below 4 feet tall, do not put yourself tightly in the middle of people. You could suffocate.
23. When your tired and exhausted seek attention of the Medics and paramedic team
24. Get a new memory card for your phone. You will take lots of pictures and videos. This will fill up your memory very quickly.
25. Load your phone with airtime and data. You will make calls and use social media. You may need to make an emergency call too.
26. Get at least one walking partner. Do not walk alone! Do not give a stranger your phone to snap pictures (strangers can run away with your phone). You need someone to lean on when you're tired and someone who can walk at a similar pace with you if you are exhausted. Do not break away from your partner. You can get lost easily in a crowd.
27. Do not shout or blow your trumpet into people's ears, spit into people's faces as you talk or clean your sweat and flick it to others.
28. Drink water whenever you're thirsty. Remember it's a walk. You need to go back to your family.
We trust it will be a peaceful OBITREK
Repost to others so we will be all prepared.
Thank you and be safe.
