In one of my recent posts about Distinguished Senator Patrick Abba Moro PhD, I made it clear that "Leadership and followership in Nigeria are taking a new dimension. Many people are now more interested in the personality of the political aspirants more than just their political parties." A good leader is very scarce to find. The reason is that many of our leaders lack integrity and consistency in their democratic journey and belief.
In politics and governance ethics generally, track record is very important.
These days, many naive and blind followers don't just border about asking basic questions: Who is this man or woman who is asking us to give him or her our mandate or votes so that he would assume the position of leadership or trust, to lead us; including taking decisions on our behalf? Who is he or she, and what was he or she doing before coming into politics; and who is his or her sources of income....is it legitimate? All of these questions and many more should form the basis for taking a stand to support a political leader; regardless of his or her political party.
We need to do regular background checks on the level of integrity and consistency of our leaders so that we the electorates won't become victims of one-chance politicians who often recruit illiterates and street touts to make noise everywhere on social media.
Senator Abba Moro deserves more awards as the Most Consistent Politician of our Time.!
It's only in America that you will see a politician calling himself a Democrat and remains so.....or a Republican and maintains it so.
Dr. Abba Moro began his academic career at Benue State Polytechnic as a lecturer where he served as head of the Department of General Studies for one year (1991-1992) and head of the department of Public Administration for four years (1992-1996) and later as dean of studies, School of Business and Administration Studies. He is well-admired by men, women, children and adults everywhere in Benue State as a lecturer...many of his students often fondly called him "Moro for Better Tomorrow"!
Senator Abba Moro as a well-known lecturer and builder of men is loved by many leaders from Idoma, Tiv, Igede and so on.
Davide Mark, former Senator and a one time Military Governor in Nigeria likes Abba Moro so much that he took special interest in him.
Distinguished Senator Abba Moto began his political career from Peoples Democratic Party and he has remained faithful, truthful, fruitful and powerful. He is currently nicknamed the father of modern Benue politics....you can't meet him and your life remains the same. Recently one of the beneficiaries of his massive foreign scholarship said that the secret of her successful emergence for the Scholarship is that *she cried Abba father*!
Below are few of his achievements, I just decided to make this post short so that my Social Media handle no go collap.se because it won't carry all his good works in one single post:

These are all verifiable projects.
In the 2025 budget that's about to kick off, Senator Moro has facilitated laudable projects that will greatly impact positively on Benue South Senatorial District, which will be rolled out in the process of time.
Senator Moro's political presence has not just been one of visibility, but of substance; a quiet but forceful dedication to principle, representation, and national stability. Today, he stands not merely as a legislator, but as an icon of purpose-driven governance. His primary interest is to develop communities, build the capacity of our youths, men and women, foster social unity among all tribes, tongues, religions and even stabilize political understanding and tolerance among citizens. This uncommon trait in him has recently earned him the nickname, *The Bridge Builder*!
Unlike many who posture with so much noise and propaganda, Senator Moro has embraced his legislative and leadership roles with a measured approach. He does not seek the spotlight for spectacle but commands it through consistent advocacy for security, constitutionalism, development, youths/women empowerment, equity and rule of law.
In conclusion, Senator Moro’s political journey reveals a man driven by conviction to impact lives, and not any personal gains. As a lawmaker, his voice is loud in defense of his people's rights and privileges when it matters. As Minority Leader, his voice resonates not just as a critic, but as a stakeholder in Nigeria’s growing democratic project. Senator Patrick Abba Moro has the best and people friendly staff in the Senate.
Senator Abba Moro is my leader and my heroe...I will name a son after him because he is a man under divine grace.
