ANAMBRA STATE @ 35 CELEBRATING THE LIGHT THAT CONTINUES TO SHINE☀️🔆

Today, we celebrate 35 remarkable years of Anambra State a journey defined by resilience, enterprise, innovation, cultural pride and an unyielding determination to excel.

From August 27, 1991, Anambra has grown beyond the boundaries of geography to become a powerful symbol of what determination, ingenuity and hard work can achieve. Across commerce, education, industry, infrastructure, technology and human capital development, Ndi Anambra continue to leave indelible footprints at home, across Nigeria and around the world.

At 35, we celebrate not only how far we have come, but the possibilities that lie ahead.
Under the leadership of His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, our dear state continues its journey towards a more livable, prosperous and globally competitive homeland, with infrastructure and sustainable development receiving renewed attention.

As Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, I remain proud to contribute to this collective responsibility of building an Anambra that generations yet unborn will be proud to inherit.
May this anniversary strengthen our shared commitment to unity, progress, excellence and service.

Today I joined the Federal Ministry of Works team on an inspection of the Obosi Bypass, following the erosion threat along the corridor...

It was encouraging to witness the swift intervention of the Federal Government to address the situation and safeguard this critical asset.

When government and citizens work together, communities move forward.

Today, I joined my good friend, High Chief Dr. Christopher Ndubuisi, Ikenga Umuawulu, the Mayor of Awka South, the MD of ACTDA, Prof. Ebuka Nwankwo, MD PEMU, and the good people of Awka South LGA to commission the Ikenga Umuawulu Road, a project personally delivered by Ikenga in his continued commitment to community development.

This is the spirit of Aku ruo Ulo... citizens complementing government, communities taking ownership and development reaching the people.

I commend Ikenga for his remarkable commitment to Awka South LGA, Anambra State at large, and for consistently investing in infrastructure that improves the lives of the people.

Ahead of the upcoming commissioning of key infrastructure in Ekwulobia, I undertook a series of site inspections to ensure that every detail is ready and delivered to the required standard.

Ekwulobia is ready. Anambra is moving forward.

Our immediate priority is the safety of those affected, supporting ongoing rescue efforts and ensuring a thorough assessment of the incident...
