Chairman North Central Governors Forum and Nasarawa State Governor, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule attended the 152nd meeting of the National Economic Council, chaired by Vice President, Sen. Kashim Shettima, GCON at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting was graced by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who presented a proposal to NEC on the revamp of training institutions for security agencies in the country.

Following the President’s proposal, NEC constituted a committee chaired by the Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, to oversee the process of overhauling training institutions for security agencies across the country.

The committee has a one-month period to produce a blueprint for the renovation of training institutions for the Nigeria Police Force and sister agencies nationwide.

REA BOSS BRIEFS GOV SULE ON EXPANDING RENEWABLE ENERGY

The Managing Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), Engr. Abba Aliyu, has paid an official visit to the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, at the Governor's Lodge Asokoro Abuja.

Accompanied by Mr. Alexander Obiechina, Chief Executive Officer of ACOB Lighting Technology Limited and a renowned renewable energy developer, Engr. Aliyu briefed Governor Sule on the numerous renewable energy projects facilitated by the REA across the state, emphasizing the agency’s commitment to deepening public private partnerships and attracting greater investment in the sector.

He particularly highlighted the completion of a 1.15MW peak solar hybrid mini-grid project designed to drive rural economic development across five communities in Nasarawa State.

Nasarawa Govt moves to rename New State Secretariat after Governor Sule as Assembly commences process to give it legal backing.

Nasarawa State Governor, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule of has visited the Extension of State-owned Agwatashi/Jangwa rice farm in Awe and Obi LGAs as plans toward harvest commence.

Governor Sule who inspected the farm on Tuesday, expressed satisfaction with the quality and quantity of rice cultivated on the farm while hopeful for a bumper harvest.

The Governor was accompanied to the farm by the SGS Shuaibu Magaji Labaran SAN, Commissioner, Margaret Elayo, SA agriculture, Iyimoga Oyigye, Fmr Perm Sec. Naphtali Dachor and other aides.
