IT BAFFLES ME HOW ANTI-PARTY ACTIVITIES HAVE BECOME NORMALISED AND DISGUISED AS POLITICAL STRATEGIES UNDER PRESIDENT TINUBU’S REGIME. 🤔
First, Minister Nyesom Wike; now, Governor Ademola Adeleke.
Ordinary party members are often labelled disloyal or accused of anti-party activities for associating with leaders of other parties, sometimes facing serious consequences or losing relevance. Yet, when powerful politicians do similar things, it suddenly becomes political strategy.
Wike, a PDP member, serves in an APC-led government, while many believe his political actions have contributed to divisions within the PDP. Now, Adeleke, who joined the Accord Party, has reportedly been appointed a campaign leader in Osun State, the very state he governs.
Honestly, it makes me wonder: Are the rules meant for the common people alone?
These old political elites continue to wield enormous influence over the younger generation they call the leaders of tomorrow, with little indication that they are ready to make way.
The sooner we realise that God will not simply come down to rescue us from this political reality, the sooner we must take responsibility for our future.
