Appeal Court Affirms Sack Of Okocha-led Rivers APC Exco

The Court of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt has upheld the judgment of the Rivers State High Court nullifying the congresses that produced the Tony Okocha-led executive of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State.
The appellate court, in a ruling delivered on Friday by Justice Elfreida Oluwayemisi Williams-Dawodu, affirmed the earlier decision of Justice Obomanu of the Rivers State High Court, who on December 20, 2024 declared the APC congresses in the state invalid.
Tony Okocha and members of the dissolved executive had approached the Court of Appeal in Suit No. CA/PH/523/2024 seeking to overturn the High Court judgment.
However, the Appeal Court dismissed their appeal and sustained the nullification of the congresses that brought the executive into office.

Biafra Heroes Day 30th May
The suffering and mass deaths during the Biafra Civil War (1967–1970) remain one of the most painful and debated parts of African history.
We called and describe it as genocide because of the large-scale of civilian deaths, starvation, massacres, and targeting of populations during the war.
However, internationally, the world hasn't come to the term “genocide” officially because of the powers backing Nigeria and that same power has refused it been recognized by international bodies such as the United Nations as "Genocide".
What will United Nations call what happened in Asaba during Nigerian soldiers invasion ?
It should be called henceforth as "BIAFRAN GENOCIDE"
We will write our history and tell our story because the world has refused to be fair to Biafrans.

• Type: Dedicated Natural Gas Processing Plant
• Owners: Seplat Energy & NGIC/NNPC
• Designed Capacity: 300 MMscfd
• Planned Expansion: 600 MMscfd
• Current Daily Output: 52 MMscfd (as of January 2026)
• Products: Processed natural gas, LPG & condensates
• Status: Operational
ANOH Gas Plant is currently the largest dedicated gas processing facility in South East Nigeria and one of the biggest gas projects in the country.
2. Orient / First Modular Gas Plant — Anambra State 🇳🇬
• Location: Umueje & Omasi, Ayamelum LGA, Anambra State
• Type: Dedicated Natural Gas Processing Plant
• Owners: First Modular Gas Systems, Orient Petroleum & Ibeto Group
• Designed Capacity: 5 MMscfd
• Planned Expansion: 10 MMscfd
• Current Daily Output: Not publicly disclosed yet
• Products: CNG & LPG
• Status: Developing/expanding
The Anambra-based Orient/First Modular Gas Plant is a smaller regional gas project focused on industrial and domestic gas supply within the South East.
ANOH Gas Plant in Imo State remains the biggest dedicated gas processing facility in the South East and is already supplying processed gas to major industries in SE, SS as production gradually ramps up toward full capacity.
