What do you think about this proposal from Iran to Nigeria?

A Tale of Two Nations: India and Nigeria
Today, Monday, Indians woke up to a tweet from their Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, thanking citizens for standing at the forefront of artificial intelligence, a technology transforming every sector of their society. He expressed confidence that the outcomes of the AI Summit would help shape a future for their children that is progressive, innovative, and opportunity-driven.
Yet in Nigeria, we wake up thinking about how to rig local government elections, how to exploit and impoverish the poor, and how to use the very children we should be nurturing for the future as tools for manipulation and election malpractice.
Nigeria is rich in talent, resources, and promise, yet we allow bad governance, greed, and selfishness to define our reality. What we are today is far from what we ought to be: a nation where every child can dream freely, every citizen can thrive, and leadership is measured by service and vision, not manipulation and personal gain.
It is time for Nigerians to demand leadership imbued with compassion, commitment, and character — leadership that works not just for a few, but for all, and that transforms promise into progress.

The Nigerian Senate’s decision to insert the proviso in Sec. 60 sub 5 of the Electoral Act Amendment Bill to provide for manual transfer of results were there’s a network failure is a fraudulent trap, a day light preparation for robbery and an expression of leadership failure in Nigeria.
In the 2023 Elections, Nigerians all witnessed the worst electoral robbery where there was a network glitch in the transmission of the Presidential Election results, but same BIVAS and INEC allowed the transmission of the Senate and House of Reps results in an election that was conducted same day and time.
Tell me what wonders we haven’t seen in Nigeria. The 2027 Elections will be nothing different if we allow the Senate’s abracadabra to stand.

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has issued a strong warning that it may embark on nationwide protest or boycott future elections if the amendment of the Electoral Act 2022 fails to mandate the real-time electronic transmission and collation of election results.
