🚨 IRAN WAR — DAY 8. Here's 10 Latest Updates You Should Probably Know...

1. Trump posted four words this morning that signaled pure escalation.

On Truth Social, Saturday: "Today Iran will be hit very hard!"

He also warned that certain areas and groups inside Iran are now under consideration for "complete destruction and certain death."

He didn't lay out specific demands. Just escalation.

Day 8. And it's getting worse — not better.

2. Tehran's main airport is on fire.

Israel deployed 80 fighter jets in a broad-scale wave of strikes Saturday morning. Tehran's Mehrabad International Airport — one of the city's two main airports — was hit.

The Israeli Air Force confirmed it struck 16 Iranian military aircraft there. Dramatic footage showed the airport engulfed in flames.

This isn't a remote military base.

This is a civilian airport. In a capital city. On fire.

3. For the first time, US and Israel struck Iran's oil storage and refineries.

US and Israeli forces hit oil storage depots and refining facilities in Tehran for the first time Saturday, sparking large fires across the capital.

They're no longer just targeting missiles and radar.

They're targeting the economic heart of Iran.

My rich dad always said: "When they start hitting the money infrastructure — that's when wars get decided."

4. Iran's president apologised to his neighbours. Then kept attacking them.

Pezeshkian delivered a televised apology to neighbouring Gulf nations and promised Iran would stop strikes on them — unless attacks on Iran originated from their territories.

Within hours, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and the UAE all reported fresh drone and missile attacks.

He apologised. Then attacked.

That tells you everything about how unified — or not — Iran's leadership actually is right now.

5. Iran just threatened to personally go after President Trump.

Iran's top security official Ali Larijani gave a national televised address saying Iran "will not let Trump go" and that he "must pay the price."

"He has martyred our leader and our people."

And in response to Trump's escalation warning, a senior Iranian official told CNN that Iran is now actively searching for new US assets to strike.

This just got personal.

6. Saudi Arabia intercepted drones heading toward one of the world's largest oil fields.

Saudi Arabia's Defense Ministry confirmed it intercepted 16 drones heading toward Shaybah — one of the largest oil fields in the entire Middle East — in the early hours of Saturday.

Let that sink in.

They're not just attacking military bases anymore.

They're targeting the oil fields that fuel the global economy.

7. Qatar's Energy Minister issued a stark global warning.

Qatar's Energy Minister Saad al-Kaabi told the Financial Times that Gulf energy exports could halt "within weeks" if the war continues.

"GDP growth around the world will be impacted. Everybody's energy price is going to go higher.

There will be shortages of some products, and there will be a chain reaction of factories that cannot supply."

That's not a blogger speculating.

That's the energy minister of one of the world's largest LNG exporters. On the record.

8. Kuwait just cut oil production. Precautionary. Effective immediately.

Kuwait Petroleum Corporation announced a precautionary cut in crude oil production and refining, saying conditions on the ground forced their hand.

Kuwait. One of OPEC's most stable producers. Cutting output.

Oil was already at $91 a barrel before this announcement.

9. Iran is choosing a new Supreme Leader. Right now. Under bombs.

Iran's Assembly of Experts is expected to choose their next Supreme Leader within the next 24 hours — even as bombs fall on Tehran.

The IRGC will play the decisive role in the selection.

Whoever they pick next will define how this war ends.

Or doesn't.

10. The US has struck 3,400 targets. Iran is still firing.

US Central Command confirmed 3,400 strikes on Iran since the war began — including two main ballistic missile production sites at Parchin and Shahrud.

43 Iranian warships sunk. Air force destroyed. Radar largely gone.

And Iran is still firing missiles at Israel. Still hitting Gulf states. Still standing.

- Tehran's airport is burning.
- Kuwait is cutting oil production.

Matawalle’s Former Aide Drops Bombshell Confession Cars, Houses, Cash, Cows, and Supplies Allegedly Given to Terrorists

Nigeria woke up to one of the most shocking revelations in its history a confession so explosive that it shakes the very foundation of the country’s security architecture.

Dr. Bello Matawalle, Nigeria’s current Minister of State for Defence, has been publicly accused of directly empowering terrorists during his tenure as Zamfara State Governor.

These allegations have existed for over a year. A respected cleric, Malam Murtala Asada, accused Matawalle of funding and equipping deadly terror leaders. Matawalle never sued.
Not once.
Not for over twelve months.

But immediately Nigerians started calling for his removal from the Ministry of Defence - only then did he suddenly rush to court to “defend his name.”

Unfortunately for him, the truth followed him there.

Because one of his closest aides, Muhammad Musa Kamarawa, a Senior Special Adviser to Matawalle when he was Governor, has now stepped forward and his confession is a nuclear bomb.

Below is the confession word-for-word, exactly as he said it:

THE FULL CONFESSION (UNCUT)

From Musa Muhammad Kamarawa, Former SSA to Matawalle

“My name is Muhammad Musa Kamarawa, I am the SSA to Matawalle when he was Zamfara State Governor. I just saw on media now that Bello Matawalle has sued respected cleric Malam Murtala Asada… If it is based on the video of the cleric accusing Matawalle, it is true.

All what the cleric said is true.”

He continued:

“There is one particular clip where the cleric mentioned that Matawalle bought vehicles for the terrorists. I swear by Allah, it is true. Matawalle bought those vehicles. He bought vehicles for Kachalla Halilu, Bello Turji, Ado Aleru.”

Then came the part no Nigerian was prepared for:

“There is another clip where the cleric said they bought Dusa for the terrorists. I swear by Allah it is me, Musa Kamarawa, that they gave money to buy the Dusa.

Here is the bank statement that shows all the 14 LGAs of Zamfara State each sent me ₦3 million. That is ₦42 million.

I used the money to buy 28,000 bags of Dusa. I know who I gave, and I gave terrorists too.”

More revelations followed - darker than anything Nigeria has ever heard:

“There is a clip the cleric said Dole, a terrorist, was arrested with more than 500 rifles and ammunition. He was shot in the leg. He was arrested and taken to Abuja at Lamurde’s office. Matawalle sent one of his boys, Bashir Maru, to go and bail him.”

But the nightmare did not end there.

“The cleric also talked about a house bought for Turji. I swear by Allah, it’s true. I am the one who bought the uncompleted building. We bought it, we completed it, and we gave it to Turji.”

And then he dropped the final bomb:

“All this is just what the cleric knows. But there are things he doesn't know.

Like buying stolen cows. I swear to Allah, Matawalle gave me ₦84 million to buy stolen cows. I took it to Kachalla Halilu and Kachalla Turji - both deadliest terrorists - and I gave them the money.

Those cows were stolen cows.”

Finally, he challenged Matawalle openly:

“I am calling Malam Murtala Asada to allow me to be a witness in the court. I will go to the court with my proofs and evidence. There are many things done in secret that no one knows.

I swear I will say it in front of the court.

It is time for people to know the truth.”

THE BIG QUESTION:

How is Bello Matawalle still Minister of Defence?

This confession is not from bloggers.
Not from political opponents.
Not from rumours.

It is from his own Senior Special Adviser, the man he trusted with millions of naira and direct operations.

The confession is public.
The cleric’s allegations are public.
The evidence exists.
Nigerians have been screaming for over a year.

And yet - the man sits in the Ministry of Defence.

A Ministry meant to protect Nigerians from terrorists…
…while the man accused of empowering terrorists sits inside it.

This is not just wrong.
This is national insanity.

No serious country allows someone with such allegations to remain anywhere near national security.

TINUBU MUST ACT - NOW

For once, Nigeria must behave like a country and not a comedy show.

The Minister of Defence resigned.
Common sense demands the Minister of State for Defence, who carries even heavier allegations, MUST also go.

Nigeria cannot fight terrorism with one hand - while the other hand embraces those accused of feeding it.

If President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu truly wants General Christopher Musa to succeed, then:

Matawalle MUST step aside.

Investigations MUST begin immediately.

Nigeria MUST show the world it is not a clown republic.

This is not politics.
This is not tribe.
This is not religion.

PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTIVE ON WITHDRAWAL OF POLICE PERSONNEL FROM VIP ES**RT DUTIES: NIGERIA POLICE FORCE RECORDS HIGH LEVEL OF COMPLIANCE

The Nigeria Police Force wishes to inform the general public that, in strict compliance with the directive of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, prohibiting the deployment of police personnel for VIP es**rt and guard duties, the Force Headquarters constituted a special enforcement team to monitor and ensure total adherence to the presidential order.

On 6th December 2025, commencing at about 1000 hours, the enforcement team carried out an extensive monitoring exercise across key locations in Lagos State, including the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge, the Domestic Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, and several other strategic points.

The exercise revealed a satisfactory and commendable level of compliance by officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force. No case of unauthorised deployment of police personnel for VIP es**rt duties was recorded during the monitoring, and consequently, no arrest was made.

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, reiterates the Force’s commitment to the full implementation of the presidential directive. The Nigeria Police Force remains resolute in redeploying its personnel to core policing duties aimed at enhancing general security, crime prevention, and protection of lives and property across the country.

Members of the public are assured that the Nigeria Police Force will continue to enforce this policy nationwide without fear or favour and urges continued support as the Force works towards a more professional, efficient, and citizen-centered policing system.
