SIGNS OF FAILURE EVERY WHERE AND INCOMPETENCE BY THE BAGO LED ADMINISTRATION TO HANDLE NIGER
Let me be completely frank with you—my listeners, friends, and followers.
Governor Umaru Mohammed Bago and the state security operatives are birds of a feather flocking together. Many of these ungrateful entities we call "leaders" got into power by pure luck or mere opportunity. We entrusted them with the sacred responsibility of protecting lives and property. Instead, they have weaponised their positions to chase selfish wealth beyond anyone's expectations—leaving the poor in abject poverty and suffering while they and their families enjoy from the sweat of the oppressed and less privileged.
The tragic death of the 37 petty miners while in Civil Defence custody in Minna must not go unpunished. Those responsible cannot go scot-free. While this is not the first time we are witnessing such horrors, I pray it will be the last. We must fiercely reject the use of state security operatives to sponsor personal agendas. I know exactly what I mean as I say this, and I strictly stand by my words.
Some Local government chairmen, like the past one in Shiroro LGA of Niger State, are heavily involved in mining. I have documented proof of how they use their proximity to power to terrorise local miners. Under the guise of halting local mining activities in the Navi Community (SHE Ward, Shiroro LGA), their actions recently led to the tragic and needless death of about three innocent souls. And all of this is happening, under the Bago administration.
