Hon. Ngozi Orji comes from a solid family background, her parents are well known in Bende North…too explain her roots. Good education and upbringing. Demonstrated welfare and empowerment programs for Item women, youths, and SMEs entrepreneurs vide her late father’s foundation by the family where she is President of Operations & Communications. These are some of the positives on her side while she has promised in her published agenda, as itemized, to do more for her Bende North if given the opportunity.
She is not riding on her parents good records even though you cannot completely rule out such residual effects and advantage. She has a first degree in journalism and a masters in business administration. She is coming with a diverse set of skills and professional experience in IT infrastructure and construction project management, which has given her technical and financial knowledge with overseeing large projects.
On a separate note, the main function of a legislator is to propose and influence the passage of legislative bills into law for good governance and improvement of the social lives of the people. Secondly, to attract visible and beneficial projects to his/her constituency. The character, integrity, history, and antecedents of the intended individual is a good guide in forming an opinion.
In these circumstances, Ngozi Orji fits the task. Let's scrutinize the individuals contesting for our representation and not necessarily their parties to enable us make the right choice.
Signed,
Okey Ogele

Being a woman running for office does not mean supporting only women and girls. I am Nigerian first, proudly from Bende North in Abia State, and when elected to serve in the State House of Assembly, I will remain available, accessible and committed to every indigene and resident of our constituency regardless of age, gender, religion or political affiliation.
Our vision is not merely to speak about poverty eradication, but to create systems that produce opportunity, innovation, security, academic excellence and global relevance for our people. Bende North deserves leadership that prepares our communities not only for today, but for the future of technology, trade and human development.

Ngozi Vivianne Orji is an APC candidate contesting for Abia State House of Assembly in her constituency of Bende North, Item Ward A. She is a daughter, sister, mother, aunty, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. She wants to serve the good people of Bende North from the House of Assembly to influence policies and create broader change.
Ngozi Vivianne Orji is currently the Managing Director and Owner of Nektaria Piston Int’l Ltd., a construction and engineering company working on projects in the South-South and Southeastern regions of Nigeria. She decided to become an entrepreneur after reaching the Project Manager level and dedicating 15 years of her career to the field of Information Technology. Before moving to Nigeria, she started an American based small business company that obtained a 20-year contract with the U.S. federal government. Evidently, she has a diverse set of skills, specifically in project management, with technical and financial knowledge that she will use towards implementing solutions to the main issues and problems decapitating Bende North.
Her principal agenda for progress and local development for the people of Bende North includes:
· Rural planning and infrastructure improvements for electrical power and water supply
· Better education facilities and digital learning revolution
· Agriculture funding, food security and global trade development
· Healthcare access and telemedicine development
· Capacity building programs for vocational training and certifications in blue-collar jobs
· Youth development, scholarships & human capital growth
Having lived and worked in the United States and collaborated with organizations in the U. S., she has built valuable international connections capable of attracting development partnerships and opportunities for our communities. Her plan is to also seek social responsibility from private sector companies in Nigeria including NGOs to ensure sustainability of projects in Bende North. Utilizing collaborative models to fill funding gaps and leveraging private-sector expertise in construction and maintenance is a key factor to local development. Public office will strengthen that access and help bring meaningful projects directly to Bende North. That is her goal and priority.
This is not to take away the credit and achievements from current leaders and their predecessors. If elected, she will always acknowledge and applaud her predecessor’s acts and contributions because when volunteering oneself to service, you open yourself to all kinds of attacks and criticisms or judgments (both at the same time can be constructive while others can be blatant lies to smear a candidate’s image). As she plans to take the driver’s seat, it is not a redo or a replacement, but to work together to enhance policies of the past, and where necessary, introduce new concepts to improve our community.
